Nicaragua passport and UAE entry rules

The majority of passports require a visa arranged in advance, which is the service described on this page. Certain passports qualify for visa on arrival, and eligibility rules shift from year to year. To be certain about the current rule for Nicaragua citizens, WhatsApp us your passport page and we will check it at no cost.

What a Dubai visa costs from Dubai

These are our current prices for a Dubai visa on a Nicaragua passport, checked in September 2026:

  • 30 days, single entry: AED 450
  • 60 days, single entry: AED 650
  • 30 days, multiple entry: AED 800
  • 60 day multiple entry: AED 1,000

No tourist visa shorter than 30 days is available. Should immigration refuse the application, the fee is not returned, as it covers government processing.

Does a Nicaragua passport need a deposit?

Some passports are asked for a refundable security deposit. It is not part of the prices listed, it comes back to you after your exit from the country, and we state clearly on WhatsApp whether a Nicaragua passport is affected.

Spreading the cost

Residents of the UAE booking for Nicaragua visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. Everyone else is sent a secure payment link online.

Paperwork for a Dubai visa

Send these on WhatsApp and we can usually confirm eligibility within the hour:

  1. A clear scan of your Nicaragua passport, both the data page and the back cover, with at least six months validity. Missing back covers cause most resubmissions.
  2. A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
  3. A return or two way flight ticket; if you do not have one, we can arrange the flights.
  4. Birth certificate for any child applicant. A national ID copy is required for some nationalities.

Depending on nationality, a six month bank statement may be requested. If that applies to Nicaragua applicants, a UAE resident family member can provide theirs instead. Please also carry a card or some cash, since immigration can ask arriving visitors to show proof of funds.

If a UAE resident is sponsoring you

If a relative or friend living in the UAE is sponsoring a Nicaragua traveller, they provide their passport copy and residence visa page, each with six months validity, Emirates ID front and back, and fill in the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. The sponsor’s bank statement can stand in for the applicant’s where one is required, but this applies to family members only, not friends.

Getting your Dubai visa in four steps

  1. Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp with your documents. We verify everything and advise on the best option for your dates.
  2. Settle the fee by secure link or instalments. Submission to immigration follows verification and payment.
  3. We submit the application to immigration and keep you updated. Most Nicaragua applications are approved in 24 to 72 hours, though immigration may occasionally take longer or request additional documents.
  4. The approved visa arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp. Carry a printed or digital copy for the airline and for immigration on arrival.

How long the Dubai visa is valid

The permit is valid for entry for 60 days from issue. The 30 or 60 day stay is measured from entry, not from issuance. A single entry visa allows one arrival; a multiple entry visa lets you leave and re enter as often as you like within the validity, which suits travellers combining the UAE with Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. A tourist visa does not permit employment in the UAE.

No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine

Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. We remind Nicaragua travellers on WhatsApp before the expiry date, giving you time to act.

Staying longer than 30 or 60 days

Thirty day visas may be extended three times by 30 days, and 60 day visas twice by 30 days, all from inside the UAE. The overall ceiling is 120 days of stay. When the extensions are used up, Nicaragua visitors must exit and return on a fresh visa, either by a same day flight or by the Oman bus route. Extension applications must be submitted before the current visa expires, so contact us with at least a week remaining.

Sharjah visa option

A Sharjah issued 60 day single entry visa is available at AED 1,200 with no security deposit. It is valid for the whole UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Message us and we will compare both routes for your Nicaragua passport.

Why applications get held up

  • Missing passport back cover. Include it with your first message to avoid resubmission.
  • A passport expiring within six months of travel.
  • Blurred or cropped photos. Use a clear, full colour scan with all four corners visible.
  • Undisclosed immigration history. Old fines or bans affect approval, so share them with us upfront.
  • One name only on the passport without a supporting document; message us first if this applies to you.
  • Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.

Frequently asked questions about Dubai visa for Nicaragua passport

What is the processing time?

Usually one to three working days. The decision rests with immigration, and delays are possible, so do not book non changeable flights until the visa is issued.

Cheapest Dubai visa option?

AED 450 single or AED 800 multiple entry. Indian and Filipino rates are AED 400 and AED 750. Deposits, where applicable, are confirmed before payment.

Price of a two month visa?

The 60 day visa costs AED 650 single entry or AED 1,000 multiple entry, and AED 600 or AED 950 for Indian and Filipino passports.

Is a bank statement required for a Nicaragua passport?

It depends on nationality. Some passports are asked for a six month statement, and a UAE based family member can submit theirs instead. Immigration may also ask arriving travellers for proof of funds, so carry a card or cash. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the rule for Nicaragua passports.

Can the visa be extended?

Yes. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days, up to a total stay of 120 days, without exiting. After that you must leave and re enter through an airport to airport change or by bus. Applications must be made before expiry.

Are there any grace days?

No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.

Can I get my money back on refusal?

No. Visa fees, including the service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission. You may reapply after addressing the reason for refusal.

Is there a visa for minors?

Yes. Each child needs their own visa and pays the same fee as an adult. Send the child’s passport, photo and birth certificate on WhatsApp along with the parents’ documents.

Can I work in the UAE on a Dubai visa?

No. A tourist visa does not permit employment. You may attend interviews and visit, but working requires a residence visa sponsored by an employer.
