Documents required for a Dubai visa on a Palau passport

Applying through a family member or friend in the UAE

When a UAE resident applies on behalf of a Palau visitor, we also need the sponsor’s passport copy valid for six months, residence visa page valid for six months, Emirates ID front and back, and the guarantee form completed at applyvisa.app. Where a bank statement is needed, a family sponsor’s statement may be used instead of the applicant’s; this does not extend to friends.

Validity and duration of stay

You have 60 days from the issue date to enter the UAE. Your 30 or 60 days of stay begin on the day you enter, not on the day the visa is issued. Single entry means one arrival only, while multiple entry allows repeated exits and returns during the validity period, useful for side trips to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. A tourist visa does not permit employment in the UAE.

Why the expiry date matters

There is no grace period on a UAE tourist visa. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. Extending a Dubai visa for Palau passport holders

The 30 day visa allows three extensions of 30 days and the 60 day visa allows two, without leaving the country. The maximum total stay is 120 days. Once you reach the maximum, you must exit and re enter, either through an airport to airport visa change or by bus to Oman. You must apply before the visa runs out; we recommend contacting us with at least seven days to spare.

Sharjah visa option

Why applications get held up

• No back cover scan. Send it together with the front page.
• Less than six months on the passport. Immigration will not approve the visa in that case.
• Unclear document images. A clean, well lit scan avoids delays.
• Earlier violations or uncancelled visas. Be open with us so we can check the record first.
• Single name passports. If your Palau passport shows only one name and no supporting document shows a full name, the visa cannot be processed, so contact us before paying.
• Applying too close to the travel date. Allow at least three working days, more during Eid and December.
