Rwanda passport holders can apply for a Dubai visa through White Sky Travel and receive a 30 or 60 day tourist visa, single or multiple entry, typically within one to three working days. Prices start at AED 450, you need only four documents, and everything happens over WhatsApp from our office in Dubai Investment Park. Here is everything a Rwanda traveller needs to know: cost, paperwork, timing, validity and what happens when the visa is about to expire.
The essentials for Rwanda citizens: 30 day single entry AED 450, 60 day single entry AED 650, 30 day multiple entry AED 800, 60 day multiple entry AED 1,000. Expect a 24 to 72 hour turnaround and a 60 day window to enter after issue.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Who needs a prearranged Dubai visa?
The majority of passports require a visa arranged in advance, which is the service described on this page. A shorter list of nationalities can enter with a stamp on arrival, and that list moves occasionally. To be certain about the current rule for Rwanda citizens, WhatsApp us your passport page and we will check it at no cost.
How much does a Dubai visa cost for Rwanda citizens?
Current Dubai visa pricing for Rwanda citizens, verified September 2026:
- Single entry 30 day visa: AED 450
- 60 day single entry: AED 650
- 30 day multiple entry: AED 800
- Multiple entry 60 day visa: AED 1,000
The 30 day visa is the shortest tourist option the UAE offers. All visa fees, including our service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission.
Refundable security deposit for some nationalities
A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. The deposit sits apart from the visa fee, is returned after you leave the UAE, and we confirm the amount for Rwanda citizens on WhatsApp before booking.
Pay in monthly instalments
Residents of the UAE booking for Rwanda visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. Everyone else is sent a secure payment link online.

Documents required for a Dubai visa on a Rwanda passport
Message us these items on WhatsApp and we will normally confirm your eligibility within an hour:
- Front page and back cover of the passport, six months validity minimum. Applications are most frequently sent back because the back cover was left out.
- A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
- Confirmed two way flight booking. We can book the flights on your behalf if needed.
- For minors, a birth certificate. For a few nationalities, a copy of the national ID card is also required.
Some nationalities may be asked for a six month bank statement, and where that applies to a Rwanda passport a UAE based family member’s statement can be submitted on your behalf. On arrival, immigration may request evidence of funds, so have a bank card or cash to hand.
Sponsor requirements
For sponsored applications the UAE resident supplies a passport copy and residence visa page valid for six months, both sides of their Emirates ID, and the online guarantee form at applyvisa.app. A family member’s UAE bank statement can replace the visitor’s statement if one is required, though friends cannot substitute theirs.
Getting your Dubai visa in four steps
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133. We review them within hours and recommend the right visa for your trip.
- Settle the fee by secure link or instalments. Submission to immigration follows verification and payment.
- We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Rwanda citizens is 24 to 72 hours, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- You receive the approved visa as a PDF on WhatsApp. Print a copy or keep it on your phone and present it with your passport at check in and on arrival.
Key dates to remember
You have 60 days from the issue date to enter the UAE. Your 30 or 60 days of stay begin on the day you enter, not on the day the visa is issued. Choose single entry for a straightforward visit, or multiple entry if you plan to hop to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar and come back. Employment is not permitted on a tourist visa.
No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. Our team messages Rwanda visitors on WhatsApp ahead of expiry so there is time to extend or leave.

Extending a Dubai visa for Rwanda passport holders
Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, with no exit needed. Total time in the UAE cannot exceed 120 days. At the 120 day point, a new visa requires an exit, which can be done by an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. Extensions are only accepted before expiry, so message us while you still have a week or more left.
Sharjah 60 day visa
A Sharjah issued 60 day single entry visa is available at AED 1,200 with no security deposit. It works for the entire country, including Dubai. Message us and we will compare both routes for your Rwanda passport.
Mistakes Rwanda applicants should avoid
- Missing passport back cover. Include it with your first message to avoid resubmission.
- Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
- Poor quality scans. Make sure the whole page is visible and readable.
- Past visa problems in the UAE. We assess these before submission so that you are not surprised by a refusal.
- One name only on the passport without a supporting document; message us first if this applies to you.
- Booking flights before the visa is approved without allowing enough processing time.
Answers for Rwanda citizens
When will I receive my visa?
Most applications are approved within 24 to 72 hours. Processing time is decided by immigration and can be longer if additional documents are requested, so apply at least three working days before travel.
How much is a 30 day Dubai visa for Rwanda citizens?
For most passports AED 450 single entry and AED 800 multiple entry; Indian and Filipino citizens pay AED 400 and AED 750. We confirm any deposit requirement on WhatsApp.
Price of a two month visa?
AED 650 single or AED 1,000 multiple entry, with the Indian and Filipino tariff at AED 600 and AED 950.
Will immigration ask for proof of funds?
Some nationalities need a six month statement, others do not. A UAE family member’s statement can be used where required. Immigration may still ask for proof of funds at the airport. Ask us on WhatsApp about Rwanda passports.
Can the visa be extended?
It can be extended in country: three times for a 30 day visa, twice for a 60 day visa, 30 days each, with a 120 day ceiling. After that, exit and re enter on a new visa.
When do fines start?
No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.
What if immigration refuses my Dubai visa?
No refund applies on refusal, since immigration retains the processing charge. You can apply again once the problem is addressed.
What about children on Rwanda passports?
Certainly. Every child is issued a separate visa at the same rate, and a birth certificate is required in addition to the passport and photo.
Can I work in the UAE on a Dubai visa?
No. A tourist visa does not permit employment. You may attend interviews and visit, but working requires a residence visa sponsored by an employer.
