Is a Dubai visa required for Suriname citizens?
Most nationalities need a prearranged visa before flying to the UAE, and that is what we issue. A shorter list of nationalities can enter with a stamp on arrival, and that list moves occasionally. If you are unsure whether a Suriname passport falls under visa on arrival or needs a prearranged Dubai visa, send us a photo of the passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you pay anything.
How much does a Dubai visa cost for Suriname citizens?
Our rate card for Suriname passports, confirmed in September 2026, is as follows:
- 30 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 450
- 60 days, single entry: AED 650
- 30 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 800
- Multiple entry 60 day visa: AED 1,000
No tourist visa shorter than 30 days is available. Fees are not refundable on rejection, since the government charge is paid the moment the application is lodged.
Refundable security deposit for some nationalities
For a limited set of countries a refundable deposit is requested. It is separate from the visa price above, it is refunded after the visitor exits the UAE, and we will confirm on WhatsApp whether it applies to Suriname passports and how much it is.
Instalment plans for UAE residents
Residents of the UAE booking for Suriname visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp.

What Suriname citizens need to send us
WhatsApp us the following and expect an eligibility answer within about an hour:
- Your passport data page plus a photo of the back cover, with six months or more validity. We ask for both because the back cover is the item most often forgotten.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
- Confirmed two way flight booking. We can book the flights on your behalf if needed.
- For minors, a birth certificate. For a few nationalities, a copy of the national ID card is also required.
Some nationalities may be asked for a six month bank statement, and where that applies to a Suriname passport a UAE based family member’s statement can be submitted on your behalf. Bear in mind that immigration officers sometimes ask arriving passengers to show they can fund their stay, so keep a card or cash accessible.
Applying through a family member or friend in the UAE
Sponsors based in the UAE send their passport and residence visa copies with six months validity, front and back of the Emirates ID, and complete the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. Where a bank statement is needed, a family sponsor’s statement may be used instead of the applicant’s; this does not extend to friends.
How Suriname citizens apply
- Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp with your documents. We verify everything and advise on the best option for your dates.
- Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We submit the application once documents and payment are in place.
- We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Suriname citizens is 24 to 72 hours, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- You receive the approved visa as a PDF on WhatsApp. Print a copy or keep it on your phone and present it with your passport at check in and on arrival.
How long the Dubai visa is valid
You have 60 days from the issue date to enter the UAE. Your 30 or 60 days of stay begin on the day you enter, not on the day the visa is issued. With single entry you may arrive once; multiple entry permits several arrivals within the validity, ideal for regional itineraries that pass through Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Working on a tourist visa is not allowed.
Why the expiry date matters
UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. We remind Suriname travellers on WhatsApp before the expiry date, giving you time to act.

Staying longer than 30 or 60 days
Thirty day visas may be extended three times by 30 days, and 60 day visas twice by 30 days, all from inside the UAE. Combined stay is capped at 120 days. At the 120 day point, a new visa requires an exit, which can be done by an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. You must apply before the visa runs out; we recommend contacting us with at least seven days to spare.
Sharjah visa option
A Sharjah issued 60 day single entry visa is available at AED 1,200 with no security deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. Message us and we will compare both routes for your Suriname passport.
How to keep your application on track
- Leaving out the back cover, which immigration requires alongside the data page.
- Passport validity under six months. Renew before applying.
- Poor quality scans. Make sure the whole page is visible and readable.
- Past visa problems in the UAE. We assess these before submission so that you are not surprised by a refusal.
- Passports bearing a single name, which require a supporting document before we can apply.
- Applying too close to the travel date. Allow at least three working days, more during Eid and December.
Suriname passport Dubai visa FAQ
How long does a Dubai visa take for a Suriname passport?
Most applications are approved within 24 to 72 hours. Processing time is decided by immigration and can be longer if additional documents are requested, so apply at least three working days before travel.
How much is a 30 day Dubai visa for Suriname citizens?
For most passports AED 450 single entry and AED 800 multiple entry; Indian and Filipino citizens pay AED 400 and AED 750. We confirm any deposit requirement on WhatsApp.
How much is a 60 day Dubai visa for Suriname passport holders?
The 60 day visa costs AED 650 single entry or AED 1,000 multiple entry, and AED 600 or AED 950 for Indian and Filipino passports.
Are financial documents needed?
It depends on nationality. Some passports are asked for a six month statement, and a UAE based family member can submit theirs instead. Immigration may also ask arriving travellers for proof of funds, so carry a card or cash. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the rule for Suriname passports.
What if I want to stay longer?
It can be extended in country: three times for a 30 day visa, twice for a 60 day visa, 30 days each, with a 120 day ceiling. After that, exit and re enter on a new visa.
When do fines start?
No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.
Can I get my money back on refusal?
The fee is not returned if the visa is refused; it covers government processing. Reapplying is possible after the cause of rejection is fixed.
What about children on Suriname passports?
Yes. Minors receive their own visa at the adult price, and we ask for a birth certificate with the usual documents.
Does the tourist visa allow employment?
No. A tourist visa does not permit employment. You may attend interviews and visit, but working requires a residence visa sponsored by an employer.
