We process the Dubai visa for Tanzania citizens as a 30 day or 60 day UAE tourist visa, available in single and multiple entry, with most approvals arriving in 24 to 72 hours. The 30 day visa starts at AED 450, four documents are enough for most applicants, and we handle every step on WhatsApp. This page explains what a Tanzania passport holder pays, what to send, how long it takes, and how the visa can be extended once you are in the UAE.
In short: Tanzania passport holders pay AED 450 for a 30 day single entry Dubai visa, AED 650 for 60 days single entry, AED 800 for 30 days multiple entry and AED 1,000 for 60 days multiple entry. Approval takes 24 to 72 hours and entry must happen within 60 days of issue.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Tanzania passport and UAE entry rules
Unless a passport qualifies for visa on arrival, a prearranged tourist visa is required, and that is what we provide. Certain passports qualify for visa on arrival, and eligibility rules shift from year to year. We confirm the current position for Tanzania passports on WhatsApp so that nobody pays for a visa they do not need.
How much does a Dubai visa cost for Tanzania citizens?
Our rate card for Tanzania passports, confirmed in September 2026, is as follows:
- 30 day single entry: AED 450
- 60 day single entry: AED 650
- Multiple entry 30 day visa: AED 800
- 60 day multiple entry: AED 1,000
The shortest UAE tourist visa is 30 days; there is no shorter tourist visa. Fees are not refundable on rejection, since the government charge is paid the moment the application is lodged.
A note on deposits
For a limited set of countries a refundable deposit is requested. It is not part of the prices listed, it comes back to you after your exit from the country, and we state clearly on WhatsApp whether a Tanzania passport is affected.
Spreading the cost
Residents of the UAE booking for Tanzania visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

Paperwork for a Dubai visa
Message us these items on WhatsApp and we will normally confirm your eligibility within an hour:
- Your passport data page plus a photo of the back cover, with six months or more validity. We ask for both because the back cover is the item most often forgotten.
- One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
- A two way air ticket. If you have not booked flights yet, we can book them for you.
- A birth certificate for children under 18. Some nationalities must also provide a national ID copy.
A bank statement covering six months is required for certain passports. Where Tanzania citizens are affected, the statement of a family member living in the UAE is accepted. On arrival, immigration may request evidence of funds, so have a bank card or cash to hand.
If a UAE resident is sponsoring you
For sponsored applications the UAE resident supplies a passport copy and residence visa page valid for six months, both sides of their Emirates ID, and the online guarantee form at applyvisa.app. If a statement is requested, a UAE family member may supply it on the applicant’s behalf, but a friend’s statement is not accepted.
Getting your Dubai visa in four steps
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133. We review them within hours and recommend the right visa for your trip.
- Make the payment through the link we send. The application goes to immigration as soon as payment clears and documents are approved.
- We submit the application to immigration and keep you updated. Most Tanzania applications are approved in 24 to 72 hours, though immigration may occasionally take longer or request additional documents.
- The approved visa arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp. Carry a printed or digital copy for the airline and for immigration on arrival.
Key dates to remember
The permit is valid for entry for 60 days from issue. Your 30 or 60 days of stay begin on the day you enter, not on the day the visa is issued. A single entry visa allows one arrival; a multiple entry visa lets you leave and re enter as often as you like within the validity, which suits travellers combining the UAE with Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Working on a tourist visa is not allowed.
Overstay rules in 2026
UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. Our team messages Tanzania visitors on WhatsApp ahead of expiry so there is time to extend or leave.

Extending a Dubai visa for Tanzania passport holders
The 30 day visa allows three extensions of 30 days and the 60 day visa allows two, without leaving the country. The overall ceiling is 120 days of stay. After the limit, the only way to stay on is to leave and come back on a new visa, by air through an airport to airport change or by bus via Oman. Apply for the extension ahead of the expiry date, ideally a week before.
An alternative issued through Sharjah
An alternative is the 60 day single entry visa issued through Sharjah, priced at AED 1,200 without any deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. We can tell you on WhatsApp which of the two is the better fit for Tanzania applicants.
Why applications get held up
- No back cover scan. Send it together with the front page.
- Less than six months on the passport. Immigration will not approve the visa in that case.
- Unclear document images. A clean, well lit scan avoids delays.
- Past visa problems in the UAE. We assess these before submission so that you are not surprised by a refusal.
- Single name passports. If your Tanzania passport shows only one name and no supporting document shows a full name, the visa cannot be processed, so contact us before paying.
- Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.
Questions Tanzania travellers ask us
How many days until approval?
Most applications are approved within 24 to 72 hours. Processing time is decided by immigration and can be longer if additional documents are requested, so apply at least three working days before travel.
Cheapest Dubai visa option?
The 30 day visa is AED 450 single entry or AED 800 multiple entry, with Indian and Filipino passports at AED 400 and AED 750. Some nationalities may also need a refundable deposit.
How much is a 60 day Dubai visa for Tanzania passport holders?
AED 650 for single entry and AED 1,000 for multiple entry. Indian and Filipino passports pay AED 600 and AED 950.
Is a bank statement required for a Tanzania passport?
It depends on nationality. Some passports are asked for a six month statement, and a UAE based family member can submit theirs instead. Immigration may also ask arriving travellers for proof of funds, so carry a card or cash. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the rule for Tanzania passports.
Is in country extension possible?
Yes. Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, all from inside the UAE, up to 120 days. Once exhausted, a visa change by air or bus is needed.
Is there a grace period after the Dubai visa expires?
No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.
Refund policy on rejection?
Fees are not refunded on rejection, as the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. A fresh application can be made once the issue is resolved.
Is there a visa for minors?
Yes. Each child needs their own visa and pays the same fee as an adult. Send the child’s passport, photo and birth certificate on WhatsApp along with the parents’ documents.
Can I work in the UAE on a Dubai visa?
Employment is not allowed on a tourist visa. Job seekers can meet employers, but a work permit and residence visa are required before starting work.
