Tuvalu passport holders can apply for a Dubai visa through White Sky Travel and receive a 30 or 60 day tourist visa, single or multiple entry, typically within one to three working days. Fees begin at AED 450, the document list is short, and the whole application runs on WhatsApp with our team in Dubai. This page explains what a Tuvalu passport holder pays, what to send, how long it takes, and how the visa can be extended once you are in the UAE.
Quick answer: a Dubai visa for a Tuvalu passport costs AED 450 for 30 days single entry, AED 650 for 60 days single entry, AED 800 for 30 days multiple entry and AED 1,000 for 60 days multiple entry. Processing takes 24 to 72 hours and the visa must be used to enter the UAE within 60 days of issue.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Is a Dubai visa required for Tuvalu citizens?
Most nationalities need a prearranged visa before flying to the UAE, and that is what we issue. Certain passports qualify for visa on arrival, and eligibility rules shift from year to year. If you are unsure whether a Tuvalu passport falls under visa on arrival or needs a prearranged Dubai visa, send us a photo of the passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you pay anything.
How much does a Dubai visa cost for Tuvalu citizens?
Here is the September 2026 price list for Tuvalu passport holders:
- 30 days, single entry: AED 450
- 60 days, single entry: AED 650
- 30 day multiple entry: AED 800
- Multiple entry 60 day visa: AED 1,000
The shortest UAE tourist visa is 30 days; there is no shorter tourist visa. Fees are not refundable on rejection, since the government charge is paid the moment the application is lodged.
A note on deposits
Some passports are asked for a refundable security deposit. It is separate from the visa price above, it is refunded after the visitor exits the UAE, and we will confirm on WhatsApp whether it applies to Tuvalu passports and how much it is.
Pay in monthly instalments
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Tuvalu passport, the fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

What Tuvalu citizens need to send us
WhatsApp us the following and expect an eligibility answer within about an hour:
- Your passport data page plus a photo of the back cover, with six months or more validity. We ask for both because the back cover is the item most often forgotten.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
- Confirmed two way flight booking. We can book the flights on your behalf if needed.
- A birth certificate for children under 18. Some nationalities must also provide a national ID copy.
Depending on nationality, a six month bank statement may be requested. If that applies to Tuvalu applicants, a UAE resident family member can provide theirs instead. UAE immigration may also ask arriving travellers to show proof of funds on entry, so carry a card or cash that demonstrates you can support your stay.
If a UAE resident is sponsoring you
If a relative or friend living in the UAE is sponsoring a Tuvalu traveller, they provide their passport copy and residence visa page, each with six months validity, Emirates ID front and back, and fill in the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. Where a bank statement is needed, a family sponsor’s statement may be used instead of the applicant’s; this does not extend to friends.
How to apply for a Dubai visa from Tuvalu
- Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 and we confirm which visa fits your plans.
- Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Processing starts only after documents are verified and payment is received.
- The application is filed and monitored by our team. Expect 24 to 72 hours for most Tuvalu applicants, with occasional delays or extra document requests from immigration.
- Once approved, we send the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Show it at check in and at UAE immigration together with your passport.
Key dates to remember
The permit is valid for entry for 60 days from issue. The stay period, 30 or 60 days, starts counting from your arrival date. With single entry you may arrive once; multiple entry permits several arrivals within the validity, ideal for regional itineraries that pass through Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Working on a tourist visa is not allowed.
What happens if you overstay
Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. Our team messages Tuvalu visitors on WhatsApp ahead of expiry so there is time to extend or leave.

Can Tuvalu citizens extend the visa?
Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, with no exit needed. Total time in the UAE cannot exceed 120 days. At the 120 day point, a new visa requires an exit, which can be done by an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. Extensions are only accepted before expiry, so message us while you still have a week or more left.
An alternative issued through Sharjah
A Sharjah issued 60 day single entry visa is available at AED 1,200 with no security deposit. It works for the entire country, including Dubai. We will advise on WhatsApp whether this suits Tuvalu citizens better than the standard visa.
How to keep your application on track
- Back cover not sent. It is the most common omission, so attach it from the start.
- A passport expiring within six months of travel.
- Poor quality scans. Make sure the whole page is visible and readable.
- Past visa problems in the UAE. We assess these before submission so that you are not surprised by a refusal.
- One name only on the passport without a supporting document; message us first if this applies to you.
- Last minute applications. Give us a minimum of three working days, longer around Eid and the winter peak.
Tuvalu passport Dubai visa FAQ
When will I receive my visa?
Usually one to three working days. The decision rests with immigration, and delays are possible, so do not book non changeable flights until the visa is issued.
Cheapest Dubai visa option?
The 30 day visa is AED 450 single entry or AED 800 multiple entry, with Indian and Filipino passports at AED 400 and AED 750. Some nationalities may also need a refundable deposit.
What does the 60 day visa cost?
AED 650 single or AED 1,000 multiple entry, with the Indian and Filipino tariff at AED 600 and AED 950.
Do I need to show a bank statement?
Bank statement requirements vary by nationality. Where one is needed, a family member living in the UAE can provide it. Separately, immigration can ask for proof of funds on arrival. We confirm the position for Tuvalu citizens on WhatsApp.
Can I extend a Dubai visa without leaving the UAE?
Yes. Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, all from inside the UAE, up to 120 days. Once exhausted, a visa change by air or bus is needed.
What happens if I overstay by a day?
No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.
Refund policy on rejection?
No. Visa fees, including the service fee, are not refundable if immigration rejects the application, because the government charge is paid at submission. You may reapply after addressing the reason for refusal.
Can children from Tuvalu apply for a Dubai visa?
Yes. Minors receive their own visa at the adult price, and we ask for a birth certificate with the usual documents.
Is working permitted?
Employment is not allowed on a tourist visa. Job seekers can meet employers, but a work permit and residence visa are required before starting work.
