If you hold a Uruguay passport and need a Dubai visa, we can issue a 30 day or 60 day UAE tourist visa in single or multiple entry, usually within 24 to 72 hours. The 30 day visa starts at AED 450, four documents are enough for most applicants, and we handle every step on WhatsApp. Below you will find the price for Uruguay citizens, the documents we ask for, processing times, validity rules and extension options.
Short version: four visa options for Uruguay passports, from AED 450 for 30 days single entry to AED 1,000 for 60 days multiple entry, approved in 24 to 72 hours and valid for entry within 60 days of issue.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Who needs a prearranged Dubai visa?
The majority of passports require a visa arranged in advance, which is the service described on this page. Some passports are stamped on arrival instead, and the list of eligible countries is updated periodically. To be certain about the current rule for Uruguay citizens, WhatsApp us your passport page and we will check it at no cost.
Dubai visa price for Uruguay passport holders
These are our current prices for a Dubai visa on a Uruguay passport, checked in September 2026:
- 30 days, single entry: AED 450
- 60 days, single entry: AED 650
- 30 days, multiple entry: AED 800
- 60 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 1,000
The shortest UAE tourist visa is 30 days; there is no shorter tourist visa. The visa fee is paid to immigration at submission and cannot be refunded if the application is declined.
Does a Uruguay passport need a deposit?
A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. This is independent of the visa cost, refunded once you depart the UAE, and we tell Uruguay applicants in advance whether one applies.
Payment options
UAE residents applying for a family member or friend from Uruguay can split the visa fee using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

Documents required for a Dubai visa on a Uruguay passport
WhatsApp us the following and expect an eligibility answer within about an hour:
- Your passport data page plus a photo of the back cover, with six months or more validity. We ask for both because the back cover is the item most often forgotten.
- One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
- A round trip ticket, which we can also book for you if it is not yet arranged.
- A birth certificate for children under 18. Some nationalities must also provide a national ID copy.
Depending on nationality, a six month bank statement may be requested. If that applies to Uruguay applicants, a UAE resident family member can provide theirs instead. On arrival, immigration may request evidence of funds, so have a bank card or cash to hand.
Guarantor documents
Sponsors based in the UAE send their passport and residence visa copies with six months validity, front and back of the Emirates ID, and complete the guarantee form at applyvisa.app. The sponsor’s bank statement can stand in for the applicant’s where one is required, but this applies to family members only, not friends.
The application process step by step
- Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp with your documents. We verify everything and advise on the best option for your dates.
- Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We submit the application once documents and payment are in place.
- We lodge the application and track it. Approval for Uruguay passports usually takes 24 to 72 hours; immigration can sometimes extend this or ask for more paperwork.
- The approved visa arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp. Carry a printed or digital copy for the airline and for immigration on arrival.
How long the Dubai visa is valid
You have 60 days from the issue date to enter the UAE. Your permitted stay runs from the entry stamp, not from the issue date. A single entry visa allows one arrival; a multiple entry visa lets you leave and re enter as often as you like within the validity, which suits travellers combining the UAE with Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. A tourist visa does not permit employment in the UAE.
Overstay rules in 2026
There is no grace period on a UAE tourist visa. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. We send Uruguay clients a reminder on WhatsApp before the visa expires so that you can extend or exit in time.

Staying longer than 30 or 60 days
Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, with no exit needed. Total time in the UAE cannot exceed 120 days. Once you reach the maximum, you must exit and re enter, either through an airport to airport visa change or by bus to Oman. Extensions are only accepted before expiry, so message us while you still have a week or more left.
An alternative issued through Sharjah
An alternative is the 60 day single entry visa issued through Sharjah, priced at AED 1,200 without any deposit. It works for the entire country, including Dubai. We can tell you on WhatsApp which of the two is the better fit for Uruguay applicants.
How to keep your application on track
- Missing passport back cover. Include it with your first message to avoid resubmission.
- A passport expiring within six months of travel.
- Unclear document images. A clean, well lit scan avoids delays.
- Earlier violations or uncancelled visas. Be open with us so we can check the record first.
- One name only on the passport without a supporting document; message us first if this applies to you.
- Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.
Questions Uruguay travellers ask us
How long does a Dubai visa take for a Uruguay passport?
Expect 24 to 72 hours for a Uruguay passport. Immigration controls the timing and occasionally requests extra paperwork.
What does the 30 day visa cost?
The 30 day visa is AED 450 single entry or AED 800 multiple entry, with Indian and Filipino passports at AED 400 and AED 750. Some nationalities may also need a refundable deposit.
How much is a 60 day Dubai visa for Uruguay passport holders?
AED 650 for single entry and AED 1,000 for multiple entry. Indian and Filipino passports pay AED 600 and AED 950.
Are financial documents needed?
Bank statement requirements vary by nationality. Where one is needed, a family member living in the UAE can provide it. Separately, immigration can ask for proof of funds on arrival. We confirm the position for Uruguay citizens on WhatsApp.
Is in country extension possible?
Yes, without exit. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each, capped at 120 days total. Beyond that, an exit and re entry is required. Apply before the visa expires.
Are there any grace days?
No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.
Can I get my money back on refusal?
No refund applies on refusal, since immigration retains the processing charge. You can apply again once the problem is addressed.
Can children from Uruguay apply for a Dubai visa?
Yes. Each child needs their own visa and pays the same fee as an adult. Send the child’s passport, photo and birth certificate on WhatsApp along with the parents’ documents.
Can I work in the UAE on a Dubai visa?
No. The visa is for visiting only. Taking up work requires an employment visa arranged by a UAE employer.
