Visa extension without exit for Bolivia passport holders

For travellers from Bolivia, the Visa extension is the simplest way to stay longer: no airport, no bus, just a 30 day extension processed while you remain in the UAE. The fee is AED 1,200 for each 30 day extension, approval normally arrives in two to three working days, and everything is handled on WhatsApp. Read on for the rules that apply to Bolivia passports: cost, number of extensions, timing, documents and the exit routes once the maximum is reached.

Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Bolivia passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.

Visa extension explained for Bolivia travellers

A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Bolivia passport record. There is no travel involved: you stay in the UAE, keep your accommodation and wait for the approval on WhatsApp.

The exit routes, airport to airport and bus to Oman, issue a brand new visa after you leave; an extension does not require leaving at all. Wherever a Bolivia citizen is still within the extension limits, this is the option we recommend before anything else.

Eligibility for Bolivia passport holders

Eligibility for a Visa extension depends on three things: the visa you hold, how many extensions you have already used, and which agency issued the visa. WhatsApp us your visa copy and we will tell you straight away if an extension is possible for a Bolivia passport or if you need a visa change instead.

  • Tourist visa holders with extensions remaining: up to three on a 30 day visa and up to two on a 60 day visa.
  • Anyone whose combined stay stays under 120 days once the extension is counted.
  • Applicants whose original visa was issued by White Sky Travel. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account.

If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). Arrival stamps and residency visas are not extendable through an agency.

UAE visit visa extension charges for Bolivia citizens

Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, and unlike a new visa the fee does not change by nationality, so Bolivia passports pay the standard rate.

  • One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
  • Two month visa extension: AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions

This price includes the immigration fee and our handling. On rejection the fee is retained by immigration and cannot be returned. If a fine has accrued, it is paid to immigration in addition to the extension fee. A Bolivia visitor needing 30 days should extend; one needing 60 days after the limit should look at the exit routes.

Pay in monthly instalments

If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Bolivia passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. When several family members extend at once, we process them together and the total can be paid on the same plan.

Visa extension requirements for Bolivia passport holders

Extensions need less paperwork than a new visa. Message us these three items on WhatsApp:

  1. A scan of the passport, valid for a minimum of six months.
  2. A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
  3. A copy of your current UAE visit visa, so we can confirm the issue date, the expiry date and how many extensions have already been used.

The extension does not call for a bank statement, accommodation proof or a return ticket. Should immigration want anything more for a Bolivia passport, we will contact you on WhatsApp at once.

The application process step by step

  1. Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
  2. Settle the AED 1,200 by secure link or instalments. The application goes to immigration after payment.
  3. We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Bolivia citizens is two to three working days.
  4. The approved extension arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp with the updated expiry. Store it alongside your passport.

The five to seven day rule for Bolivia visitors

Immigration will not extend a visa that has already lapsed, so the request has to be in before the expiry date. We ask Bolivia travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. Back to back extensions should each be filed a few days before the running expiry, always within the 120 day cap.

Overstay rules in 2026

There is no grace period on a UAE visit visa. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. After expiry the only option is an exit route; we handle the airport to airport change or the Oman bus for Bolivia passports.

Options for Bolivia visitors after 120 days

When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. From there you have four routes: an airport to airport visa change at AED 1,550 with a same day return by flydubai, a visa change by bus to Oman from AED 1,000 over about one day, returning home and applying for a fresh visa later, or converting to a residence visa if an employer or family sponsor is available. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Bolivia travellers on WhatsApp.

Why extensions get refused or delayed

  • Waiting until expiry day, which leaves no room for processing time.
  • Approaching a different agency. The same agency rule means we can only extend visas we issued; for others, use an exit route.
  • Assuming the clock resets with each extension. It does not; 120 days is the total from entry.
  • Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
  • Trying to extend a visa on arrival or a residence visa. This service covers agency issued visit visas only; other permits need a different route.

Answers for Bolivia citizens

Can Bolivia passport holders extend in country?

Yes. Agency issued 30 day and 60 day visit visas can be extended from inside the UAE without leaving, provided you still have extensions remaining, your total stay will not exceed 120 days, and the application goes through the agency that issued the visa.

What are the UAE visit visa extension fees?

AED 1,200 for a 30 day extension and AED 2,400 for 60 days, with no nationality surcharge for Bolivia citizens.

When will I receive the extension?

Most extensions are approved within two to three working days. Weekends and public holidays are not counted, and immigration may occasionally take longer, so apply five to seven days before expiry.

What is the maximum stay?

A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days. The maximum continuous stay on any UAE tourist visa is 120 days, after which exit is mandatory.

Does the same agency rule apply to Bolivia passports?

No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.

How many days can I stay after the visa ends?

No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.

What about family members on Bolivia passports?

Yes. We process extensions for spouses, children and other family members together, and UAE residents booking for family can split the combined total across Tabby, Tamara or a UAE credit card plan.

Can immigration decline an extension?

Immigration can decline at its discretion, though it seldom does for eligible Bolivia applicants. The fee is not returned on refusal, and an exit route becomes necessary before expiry.
