Visa extension for Dominica passport

When a Dominica citizen wants more time in the UAE, a Visa extension adds 30 days to the current visit visa from inside the country. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for Dominica citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.

Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Dominica passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.

How an in country UAE visa extension works

Unlike a visa change, a Visa extension keeps your existing visa and simply adds 30 days to it. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Dominica passport record. You do not leave the country at any point; the approval arrives on WhatsApp while you carry on with your stay.

Visa change by air or by bus means exiting and re entering on a new visa; a Visa extension avoids the exit altogether. If a Dominica passport holder is still eligible, the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route, so it is always our first suggestion.

Is a Visa extension available for Dominica citizens?

A Visa extension is available when the visa type allows it, the extension count has not been exhausted, and the application goes through the original issuer. Send us a copy of your current visa on WhatsApp and we will confirm within the hour whether a Dominica passport can be extended, or whether an exit route is the better option.

  • Anyone on a 30 day or 60 day tourist visa issued by an agency: three extensions for the 30 day visa, two for the 60 day visa, 30 days each time.
  • Anyone whose combined stay stays under 120 days once the extension is counted.
  • Holders of a visa issued by us. The UAE system routes extension requests through the issuing agency, which is why the same agency rule applies.

If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). Visas issued on arrival and residence visas cannot be extended through this service.

UAE visit visa extension charges for Dominica citizens

Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, and unlike a new visa the fee does not change by nationality, so Dominica passports pay the standard rate.

  • A single 30 day block: AED 1,200
  • 2 month extension: AED 2,400, issued as two separate 30 day approvals

The charge covers immigration and processing costs and is not refundable if the extension is refused. Any overstay fine is settled separately with immigration and is not included in the AED 1,200. Compared with the exit routes, the extension is usually the better value for a Dominica visitor who needs 30 more days, while a new 60 day visa through airport to airport or bus makes more sense when you need the full two months and have no extensions left.

Instalment plans for UAE residents

Residents of the UAE booking for Dominica visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link. Group applications for a family are processed as one, with the total eligible for instalments.

Visa extension requirements for Dominica passport holders

The document list for an extension is short, because immigration already holds your details from the original visa. Send these on WhatsApp:

  1. A clear copy of your Dominica passport, valid for at least six months.
  2. A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
  3. The current visa copy, which we use to check the expiry date and remaining extensions.

Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Dominica passport.

The application process step by step

  1. WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Dominica passport can be extended.
  2. Make the payment through the link we send. We submit as soon as it is confirmed.
  3. We submit the extension to immigration and keep you updated. Most Dominica applications are approved within two to three working days, though immigration may occasionally take longer.
  4. You receive the approved extension as a PDF on WhatsApp showing the new expiry date. Keep it with your passport for the rest of your stay.

Do not wait until the last day

The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. Allow five to seven days: two to three working days for processing, plus a buffer for weekends and holidays. For consecutive extensions, submit each new request a few days before the previous extension expires and track your cumulative stay against the 120 day limit.

Why the expiry date is final

Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

Options for Dominica visitors after 120 days

Once a Dominica visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. From there you have four routes: an airport to airport visa change at AED 1,550 with a same day return by flydubai, a visa change by bus to Oman from AED 1,000 over about one day, returning home and applying for a fresh visa later, or converting to a residence visa if an employer or family sponsor is available. Both exit routes issue a new 60 day tourist visa regardless of which agency issued the original, and we arrange either on WhatsApp.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Waiting until expiry day, which leaves no room for processing time.
  • Expecting a third party to extend a visa it did not issue, which the system does not allow.
  • Assuming the clock resets with each extension. It does not; 120 days is the total from entry.
  • Less than six months on the passport, which blocks the extension.
  • Applying with an arrival stamp or residency, which cannot be extended through an agency.

Frequently asked questions about Visa extension for Dominica passport

Is extension without exit possible for Dominica citizens?

Yes. Agency issued 30 day and 60 day visit visas can be extended from inside the UAE without leaving, provided you still have extensions remaining, your total stay will not exceed 120 days, and the application goes through the agency that issued the visa.

How much is a 2 month extension?

AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, the same for every nationality including Dominica. A two month extension is AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions.

How many days until approval?

Expect two to three working days for a Dominica passport, with a buffer for weekends and holidays.

How many extensions are allowed?

Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each. Total stay cannot exceed 120 days from the original entry.

Does the same agency rule apply to Dominica passports?

Extensions go through the issuer’s account, so a visa from another agency must be extended by them. Alternatively, we arrange an airport to airport change or the Oman bus, neither of which depends on who issued the first visa.

How many days can I stay after the visa ends?

No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.

Can spouse and children extend at the same time?

Yes. Family extensions are handled as one application, and the total fee is eligible for instalments when a UAE resident books on the family’s behalf.

Is the fee refundable on rejection?

Refusals are rare when the eligibility rules are met. If immigration declines, the fee is not refundable because the government charge is paid at submission, and you would need to exit before expiry through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. We check eligibility carefully before you pay to keep this risk low.
