If you hold a Indonesia passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. We process the extension for AED 1,200 per 30 day block, usually within two to three working days, and the whole application runs on WhatsApp. This page explains who qualifies, what a Indonesia passport holder pays, how many times you can extend, the deadline to apply, and what happens once you reach the 120 day limit.
In short: Indonesia passport holders pay AED 1,200 for each 30 day Visa extension, approved in two to three working days without leaving the country. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 120 days maximum. Apply five to seven days before expiry through the agency that issued your visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
The meaning of Visa extension for Indonesia passport holders
A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. The application is submitted to immigration through the same agency account that issued your original visa, and once approved the new expiry date is recorded against your Indonesia passport. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.
Visa change by air or by bus means exiting and re entering on a new visa; a Visa extension avoids the exit altogether. If a Indonesia passport holder is still eligible, the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route, so it is always our first suggestion.
Is a Visa extension available for Indonesia citizens?
Eligibility for a Visa extension depends on three things: the visa you hold, how many extensions you have already used, and which agency issued the visa. Send us a copy of your current visa on WhatsApp and we will confirm within the hour whether a Indonesia passport can be extended, or whether an exit route is the better option.
- Visitors on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visit visa who have not yet reached the extension limit.
- Travellers who will remain within the 120 day ceiling after the extension is added.
- Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.
Visas issued elsewhere can be extended by that agency; alternatively, we arrange an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or a bus visa change from AED 1,000, each providing a new 60 day visa. Visas issued on arrival and residence visas cannot be extended through this service.

UAE visit visa extension charges for Indonesia citizens
A 30 day extension is AED 1,200 for all passports, Indonesia included; there is no nationality based pricing on extensions.
- A single 30 day block: AED 1,200
- Two month visa extension: AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions
The AED 1,200 includes the immigration fee and our service. It cannot be refunded on refusal, since the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. Overstay fines, if any, are paid by the traveller to immigration and are not part of the extension fee. For 30 extra days the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route; for a full 60 days with no extensions remaining, the airport to airport change or the bus route becomes the better buy for Indonesia travellers.
Payment options
UAE residents arranging a Visa extension for a family member or friend from Indonesia can split the AED 1,200 using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. We extend spouses and children together and apply one instalment plan to the combined fee.
Visa extension requirements for Indonesia passport holders
Since immigration already has your file from the original visa, an extension needs only a few items. WhatsApp us:
- A clear copy of your Indonesia passport, valid for at least six months.
- A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
- Your present visa, needed to confirm eligibility and the dates.
You will not be asked for financial documents, a hotel booking or a ticket to extend. In rare cases immigration asks for something extra; if so, we let Indonesia applicants know straight away.
How Indonesia citizens apply
- Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
- Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Submission to immigration starts only after payment is received.
- We submit the extension to immigration and keep you updated. Most Indonesia applications are approved within two to three working days, though immigration may occasionally take longer.
- We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.
Timing your Visa extension
The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. We ask Indonesia travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. Back to back extensions should each be filed a few days before the running expiry, always within the 120 day cap.
No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine
There is no grace period on a UAE visit visa. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

When extension is no longer possible
When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. You can fly out and back the same day for AED 1,550, take the Oman bus from AED 1,000, return to Indonesia and reapply, or switch to residency if you have a sponsor. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Indonesia travellers on WhatsApp.
Why extensions get refused or delayed
- Missing the deadline. Once the visa lapses, only an exit route remains.
- Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
- Losing track of cumulative days. The 120 day cap runs from first entry, including every extension.
- Less than six months on the passport, which blocks the extension.
- Applying with an arrival stamp or residency, which cannot be extended through an agency.
Questions Indonesia travellers ask us
Do I have to leave the UAE to extend?
Yes. Agency issued 30 day and 60 day visit visas can be extended from inside the UAE without leaving, provided you still have extensions remaining, your total stay will not exceed 120 days, and the application goes through the agency that issued the visa.
How much is a 2 month extension?
The extension fee is AED 1,200 for 30 days and AED 2,400 for 60 days (two back to back extensions), identical for all passports including Indonesia.
How long does a Visa extension take?
Most extensions are approved within two to three working days. Weekends and public holidays are not counted, and immigration may occasionally take longer, so apply five to seven days before expiry.
How many times can a Indonesia citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?
Up to three times for a 30 day visa and twice for a 60 day visa, always within a 120 day ceiling.
What if my visa came from a different agency?
Only the issuing agency can extend a visa in country; that is how the immigration system works, not an agency policy. For visas issued elsewhere, ask that agency, or book an exit route with us (airport to airport AED 1,550, bus from AED 1,000) for a fresh 60 day visa.
How many days can I stay after the visa ends?
There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.
Is there a family extension option?
Yes. We process extensions for spouses, children and other family members together, and UAE residents booking for family can split the combined total across Tabby, Tamara or a UAE credit card plan.
What happens if it is not approved?
Immigration can decline at its discretion, though it seldom does for eligible Indonesia applicants. The fee is not returned on refusal, and an exit route becomes necessary before expiry.
