When a Israel citizen wants more time in the UAE, a Visa extension adds 30 days to the current visit visa from inside the country. The fee is AED 1,200 for each 30 day extension, approval normally arrives in two to three working days, and everything is handled on WhatsApp. Here is everything a Israel traveller needs to know before applying: fees, limits, deadlines, paperwork and the alternatives when extension is no longer possible.
Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Israel passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
What is a Visa extension without exit?
An in country Visa extension extends the visa you already hold rather than issuing a fresh one. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Israel passport record. You do not leave the country at any point; the approval arrives on WhatsApp while you carry on with your stay.
Visa change by air or by bus means exiting and re entering on a new visa; a Visa extension avoids the exit altogether. For eligible Israel travellers the extension beats the exit routes on cost, effort and time away.
Who from Israel can apply for a Visa extension?
Whether you qualify comes down to your current visa, your extension history and who issued the original visa. We check the position for Israel passports on WhatsApp and advise the right route: extension, airport to airport or bus.
- Tourist visa holders with extensions remaining: up to three on a 30 day visa and up to two on a 60 day visa.
- Travellers who will remain within the 120 day ceiling after the extension is added.
- Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.
If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). Arrival stamps and residency visas are not extendable through an agency.

Israel passport Visa extension price
A 30 day extension is AED 1,200 for all passports, Israel included; there is no nationality based pricing on extensions.
- 30 day extension: AED 1,200
- 60 day extension: AED 2,400 (two 30 day extensions back to back)
This price includes the immigration fee and our handling. On rejection the fee is retained by immigration and cannot be returned. Overstay fines, if any, are paid by the traveller to immigration and are not part of the extension fee. For 30 extra days the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route; for a full 60 days with no extensions remaining, the airport to airport change or the bus route becomes the better buy for Israel travellers.
Instalment plans for UAE residents
UAE residents arranging a Visa extension for a family member or friend from Israel can split the AED 1,200 using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. We extend spouses and children together and apply one instalment plan to the combined fee.
Visa extension requirements for Israel passport holders
Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:
- A scan of the passport, valid for a minimum of six months.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
- The current visa copy, which we use to check the expiry date and remaining extensions.
The extension does not call for a bank statement, accommodation proof or a return ticket. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Israel passport.
The application process step by step
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Israel passport can be extended.
- Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We file the extension once payment clears.
- The extension is filed and monitored by our team. Expect two to three working days for most Israel applicants, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- The approved extension arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp with the updated expiry. Store it alongside your passport.
When to apply and why the deadline matters
Immigration will not extend a visa that has already lapsed, so the request has to be in before the expiry date. We ask Israel travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.
Why the expiry date is final
There is no grace period on a UAE visit visa. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

Reaching the 120 day limit
When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. From there you have four routes: an airport to airport visa change at AED 1,550 with a same day return by flydubai, a visa change by bus to Oman from AED 1,000 over about one day, returning home and applying for a fresh visa later, or converting to a residence visa if an employer or family sponsor is available. Either exit route resets you on a new 60 day visa, and the same agency rule does not apply to them.
Why extensions get refused or delayed
- Waiting until expiry day, which leaves no room for processing time.
- Expecting a third party to extend a visa it did not issue, which the system does not allow.
- Forgetting that extensions add to the original stay rather than replacing it.
- Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
- Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.
Questions Israel travellers ask us
Can Israel passport holders extend in country?
Yes, without leaving the country. The conditions are an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa, extensions still available, a total stay under 120 days, and processing through the issuing agency.
What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?
AED 1,200 for a 30 day extension and AED 2,400 for 60 days, with no nationality surcharge for Israel citizens.
What is the processing time?
Expect two to three working days for a Israel passport, with a buffer for weekends and holidays.
How many times can a Israel citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?
The limit is 120 days in total: three 30 day extensions on a 30 day visa, or two on a 60 day visa.
Does the same agency rule apply to Israel passports?
The same agency rule applies to every nationality, Israel included. If we did not issue the visa, we cannot extend it, but we can reset you on a new 60 day visa by air (AED 1,550) or bus (from AED 1,000).
Is there a grace period after my visa expires?
No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.
Can spouse and children extend at the same time?
Yes. Each family member pays AED 1,200 per extension, we file them together, and the total can be spread over instalments for UAE resident sponsors.
Can immigration decline an extension?
Immigration can decline at its discretion, though it seldom does for eligible Israel applicants. The fee is not returned on refusal, and an exit route becomes necessary before expiry.
