If you hold a Jordan passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for Jordan citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.
Quick answer: a Visa extension for a Jordan passport costs AED 1,200 per 30 days and is processed inside the UAE in two to three working days. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, up to a total stay of 120 days. Apply at least five to seven days before expiry, and note that the extension must be processed by the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Visa extension explained for Jordan travellers
An in country Visa extension extends the visa you already hold rather than issuing a fresh one. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Jordan passport record. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.
This is different from an airport to airport visa change or a visa change by bus to Oman, both of which involve leaving the UAE and returning on a completely new tourist visa. For Jordan visitors who still qualify, the extension is the cheapest and least disruptive option, and it is the one we recommend first.
Who from Jordan can apply for a Visa extension?
A Visa extension is available when the visa type allows it, the extension count has not been exhausted, and the application goes through the original issuer. Send us a copy of your current visa on WhatsApp and we will confirm within the hour whether a Jordan passport can be extended, or whether an exit route is the better option.
- Visit and tourist visa holders on a 30 day or 60 day visa issued through a travel agency. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days.
- Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
- Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.
If your visa was issued by a different agency, you have two choices: ask that agency to extend it, or use an exit route with us. An airport to airport visa change costs AED 1,550 and a visa change by bus to Oman starts from AED 1,000, and both give you a fresh 60 day visa regardless of who issued the first one. This service does not cover visa on arrival stamps or residence permits.

Jordan passport Visa extension price
A 30 day extension is AED 1,200 for all passports, Jordan included; there is no nationality based pricing on extensions.
- 1 month extension inside the UAE: AED 1,200
- 2 month extension: AED 2,400, issued as two separate 30 day approvals
The fee covers the government charge and our processing, and it is not refundable if immigration declines the extension, because the government fee is paid at submission. Overstay fines, if any, are paid by the traveller to immigration and are not part of the extension fee. A Jordan visitor needing 30 days should extend; one needing 60 days after the limit should look at the exit routes.
Pay in monthly instalments
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Jordan passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link. Family extensions are handled together, and the combined total can be split the same way.
Paperwork for a Visa extension
The document list for an extension is short, because immigration already holds your details from the original visa. Send these on WhatsApp:
- Passport copy showing at least six months validity.
- One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
- A copy of your current UAE visit visa, so we can confirm the issue date, the expiry date and how many extensions have already been used.
No bank statement, hotel booking or return ticket is required for the extension itself. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Jordan passport.
Getting your extension in four steps
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Jordan passport can be extended.
- Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We file the extension once payment clears.
- The extension is filed and monitored by our team. Expect two to three working days for most Jordan applicants, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.
Do not wait until the last day
An extension is only possible on a live visa, which is why the expiry date is the hard deadline. With two to three working days of processing and no weekend service, a five to seven day lead time protects Jordan visitors from missing the deadline. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.
No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

When extension is no longer possible
At 120 days total, Jordan passport holders must leave the UAE. You can fly out and back the same day for AED 1,550, take the Oman bus from AED 1,000, return to Jordan and reapply, or switch to residency if you have a sponsor. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Jordan travellers on WhatsApp.
Common problems for Jordan applicants and how we prevent them
- Leaving it to the last day. An expired visa cannot be extended, so allow a week.
- Approaching a different agency. The same agency rule means we can only extend visas we issued; for others, use an exit route.
- Losing track of cumulative days. The 120 day cap runs from first entry, including every extension.
- Less than six months on the passport, which blocks the extension.
- Applying with an arrival stamp or residency, which cannot be extended through an agency.
Answers for Jordan citizens
Is extension without exit possible for Jordan citizens?
You can. Jordan passport holders on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa extend in country as long as extensions remain, the 120 day limit is respected, and the issuing agency files the request.
What are the UAE visit visa extension fees?
One month costs AED 1,200 and two months cost AED 2,400, issued as two 30 day extensions. The fee does not vary by nationality, so Jordan passports pay the standard rate.
How many days until approval?
Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, Jordan travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.
How many times can a Jordan citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?
Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each. Total stay cannot exceed 120 days from the original entry.
Can I extend a visa issued by another agency?
The same agency rule applies to every nationality, Jordan included. If we did not issue the visa, we cannot extend it, but we can reset you on a new 60 day visa by air (AED 1,550) or bus (from AED 1,000).
Is there a grace period after my visa expires?
There is no grace period. Fines of AED 50 per day begin immediately after expiry, and an exit permit costing roughly AED 250 to 300 is needed if the overstay exceeds 30 days.
What about family members on Jordan passports?
Yes. We process extensions for spouses, children and other family members together, and UAE residents booking for family can split the combined total across Tabby, Tamara or a UAE credit card plan.
Can immigration decline an extension?
Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
