Kazakhstan passport Visa extension: fees, rules and process

For travellers from Kazakhstan, the Visa extension is the simplest way to stay longer: no airport, no bus, just a 30 day extension processed while you remain in the UAE. We process the extension for AED 1,200 per 30 day block, usually within two to three working days, and the whole application runs on WhatsApp. This page explains who qualifies, what a Kazakhstan passport holder pays, how many times you can extend, the deadline to apply, and what happens once you reach the 120 day limit.

In short: Kazakhstan passport holders pay AED 1,200 for each 30 day Visa extension, approved in two to three working days without leaving the country. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 120 days maximum. Apply five to seven days before expiry through the agency that issued your visa.

How an in country UAE visa extension works

A Visa extension is an extension of the current permit; the visa number stays the same and the expiry date moves forward by 30 days. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Kazakhstan passport record. There is no travel involved: you stay in the UAE, keep your accommodation and wait for the approval on WhatsApp.

Visa change by air or by bus means exiting and re entering on a new visa; a Visa extension avoids the exit altogether. For Kazakhstan visitors who still qualify, the extension is the cheapest and least disruptive option, and it is the one we recommend first.

Who from Kazakhstan can apply for a Visa extension?

A Visa extension is available when the visa type allows it, the extension count has not been exhausted, and the application goes through the original issuer. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Kazakhstan citizens before you pay anything.

  • Visitors on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visit visa who have not yet reached the extension limit.
  • Travellers who will remain within the 120 day ceiling after the extension is added.
  • Applicants whose original visa was issued by White Sky Travel. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account.

If your visa was issued by a different agency, you have two choices: ask that agency to extend it, or use an exit route with us. An airport to airport visa change costs AED 1,550 and a visa change by bus to Oman starts from AED 1,000, and both give you a fresh 60 day visa regardless of who issued the first one. This service does not cover visa on arrival stamps or residence permits.

How much does a Visa extension cost?

Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, and unlike a new visa the fee does not change by nationality, so Kazakhstan passports pay the standard rate.

  • One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
  • 60 day extension: AED 2,400 (two 30 day extensions back to back)

The AED 1,200 includes the immigration fee and our service. It cannot be refunded on refusal, since the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. If a fine has accrued, it is paid to immigration in addition to the extension fee. If you only need a month, extend; if you need two months and have run out of extensions, a new visa by air or bus is the better route for a Kazakhstan passport.

Pay in monthly instalments

For UAE residents applying on behalf of Kazakhstan family or friends, the AED 1,200 can be spread with Tabby up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months according to the bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. We extend spouses and children together and apply one instalment plan to the combined fee.

Paperwork for a Visa extension

Extensions need less paperwork than a new visa. Message us these three items on WhatsApp:

  1. A scan of the passport, valid for a minimum of six months.
  2. A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
  3. The current visa copy, which we use to check the expiry date and remaining extensions.

No bank statement, hotel booking or return ticket is required for the extension itself. Should immigration want anything more for a Kazakhstan passport, we will contact you on WhatsApp at once.

How Kazakhstan citizens apply

  1. WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Kazakhstan passport can be extended.
  2. Pay through the secure link or instalment plan we send. Submission to immigration starts only after payment is received.
  3. We lodge the application and track it. Approval for Kazakhstan passports usually takes two to three working days; immigration can sometimes extend this.
  4. We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.

When to apply and why the deadline matters

An extension is only possible on a live visa, which is why the expiry date is the hard deadline. Allow five to seven days: two to three working days for processing, plus a buffer for weekends and holidays. For consecutive extensions, submit each new request a few days before the previous extension expires and track your cumulative stay against the 120 day limit.

What happens if you miss the deadline

UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. After expiry the only option is an exit route; we handle the airport to airport change or the Oman bus for Kazakhstan passports.

When extension is no longer possible

Once a Kazakhstan visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. From there you have four routes: an airport to airport visa change at AED 1,550 with a same day return by flydubai, a visa change by bus to Oman from AED 1,000 over about one day, returning home and applying for a fresh visa later, or converting to a residence visa if an employer or family sponsor is available. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Kazakhstan travellers on WhatsApp.

Why extensions get refused or delayed

  • Waiting until expiry day, which leaves no room for processing time.
  • Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
  • Miscounting the 120 days. Total stay is counted from the original entry date, not from the last extension, so keep a running tally.
  • Short passport validity, which leads to refusal.
  • Applying with an arrival stamp or residency, which cannot be extended through an agency.

Answers for Kazakhstan citizens

Can Kazakhstan passport holders extend in country?

Yes. No exit is needed for agency issued visit visas within the extension limits and the 120 day cap, when processed by the original issuer.

What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?

AED 1,200 for a 30 day extension and AED 2,400 for 60 days, with no nationality surcharge for Kazakhstan citizens.

What is the processing time?

Expect two to three working days for a Kazakhstan passport, with a buffer for weekends and holidays.

How many times can a Kazakhstan citizen extend a UAE tourist visa?

Up to three times for a 30 day visa and twice for a 60 day visa, always within a 120 day ceiling.

Who can process my extension?

No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.

When do fines start?

No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.

What about family members on Kazakhstan passports?

Certainly. We extend the whole family at once, and residents sponsoring Kazakhstan relatives can pay the combined AED 1,200 per person on an instalment plan.

Can immigration decline an extension?

Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
