- Apply for your Visa extension with White Sky Travel
A Visa extension allows Luxembourg passport holders to add 30 days to a UAE visit visa without exiting, flying anywhere or crossing a border. We process the extension for AED 1,200 per 30 day block, usually within two to three working days, and the whole application runs on WhatsApp. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for Luxembourg citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.
Short version: AED 1,200 per 30 days, processed in country in two to three working days for Luxembourg passports, up to 120 days total. Apply a week before expiry via the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
How an in country UAE visa extension works
A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. The application is submitted to immigration through the same agency account that issued your original visa, and once approved the new expiry date is recorded against your Luxembourg passport. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.
It should not be confused with the airport to airport change or the Oman bus route, which reset you on a new visa after an exit. For Luxembourg visitors who still qualify, the extension is the cheapest and least disruptive option, and it is the one we recommend first.
Who qualifies
Eligibility for a Visa extension depends on three things: the visa you hold, how many extensions you have already used, and which agency issued the visa. Send us a copy of your current visa on WhatsApp and we will confirm within the hour whether a Luxembourg passport can be extended, or whether an exit route is the better option.
- Visit and tourist visa holders on a 30 day or 60 day visa issued through a travel agency. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days.
- Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
- Holders of a visa issued by us. The UAE system routes extension requests through the issuing agency, which is why the same agency rule applies.
Where another agency issued the visa, either contact them for the extension or book an exit route with us: airport to airport at AED 1,550 or the Oman bus from AED 1,000, both of which issue a new 60 day visa whatever the original source. Visas issued on arrival and residence visas cannot be extended through this service.

Visa extension fees for Luxembourg passport holders
The Visa extension fee is AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, and the price is the same for every nationality, including Luxembourg.
- 1 month extension inside the UAE: AED 1,200
- Sixty days of extension: AED 2,400, applied as two 30 day steps
This price includes the immigration fee and our handling. On rejection the fee is retained by immigration and cannot be returned. Any overstay fine is settled separately with immigration and is not included in the AED 1,200. If you only need a month, extend; if you need two months and have run out of extensions, a new visa by air or bus is the better route for a Luxembourg passport.
Spreading the cost
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Luxembourg passport, the extension fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link. When several family members extend at once, we process them together and the total can be paid on the same plan.
What Luxembourg citizens need to send us
The document list for an extension is short, because immigration already holds your details from the original visa. Send these on WhatsApp:
- A clear copy of your Luxembourg passport, valid for at least six months.
- A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
- Your present visa, needed to confirm eligibility and the dates.
You will not be asked for financial documents, a hotel booking or a ticket to extend. In rare cases immigration asks for something extra; if so, we let Luxembourg applicants know straight away.
The application process step by step
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Luxembourg passport can be extended.
- Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We file the extension once payment clears.
- The extension is filed and monitored by our team. Expect two to three working days for most Luxembourg applicants, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.
Timing your Visa extension
Applications are only accepted while the visa is still valid. Once it expires, extension is no longer possible. We ask Luxembourg travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. When chaining extensions, start each one a few days early and count your total days from the original entry.
Why the expiry date is final
Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. After expiry the only option is an exit route; we handle the airport to airport change or the Oman bus for Luxembourg passports.

Reaching the 120 day limit
When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. Four options follow: airport to airport at AED 1,550 and back the same day, the bus to Oman from AED 1,000 taking roughly a day, a return home before a new visa, or a residence visa through an employer or family member. Both exit routes issue a new 60 day tourist visa regardless of which agency issued the original, and we arrange either on WhatsApp.
Mistakes to avoid
- Missing the deadline. Once the visa lapses, only an exit route remains.
- Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
- Forgetting that extensions add to the original stay rather than replacing it.
- Passport validity under six months. Immigration will not extend a visa on a passport close to expiry.
- Trying to extend a visa on arrival or a residence visa. This service covers agency issued visit visas only; other permits need a different route.
Frequently asked questions about Visa extension for Luxembourg passport
Is extension without exit possible for Luxembourg citizens?
Yes, without leaving the country. The conditions are an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa, extensions still available, a total stay under 120 days, and processing through the issuing agency.
What are the UAE visit visa extension fees?
AED 1,200 for a 30 day extension and AED 2,400 for 60 days, with no nationality surcharge for Luxembourg citizens.
When will I receive the extension?
Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, Luxembourg travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.
How many extensions are allowed?
The limit is 120 days in total: three 30 day extensions on a 30 day visa, or two on a 60 day visa.
Who can process my extension?
Only the issuing agency can extend a visa in country; that is how the immigration system works, not an agency policy. For visas issued elsewhere, ask that agency, or book an exit route with us (airport to airport AED 1,550, bus from AED 1,000) for a fresh 60 day visa.
Can I stay a few days after expiry?
No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.
Can I extend visas for my family together?
Yes. Family extensions are handled as one application, and the total fee is eligible for instalments when a UAE resident books on the family’s behalf.
Is the fee refundable on rejection?
Refusals are rare when the eligibility rules are met. If immigration declines, the fee is not refundable because the government charge is paid at submission, and you would need to exit before expiry through an airport to airport change or the bus to Oman. We check eligibility carefully before you pay to keep this risk low.
