- Apply for your Visa extension with White Sky Travel
A Visa extension allows Mali passport holders to add 30 days to a UAE visit visa without exiting, flying anywhere or crossing a border. At White Sky Travel a 30 day extension is AED 1,200, processed in around two to three working days, with every step on WhatsApp. This page explains who qualifies, what a Mali passport holder pays, how many times you can extend, the deadline to apply, and what happens once you reach the 120 day limit.
In short: Mali passport holders pay AED 1,200 for each 30 day Visa extension, approved in two to three working days without leaving the country. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 120 days maximum. Apply five to seven days before expiry through the agency that issued your visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
What is a Visa extension without exit?
A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Mali passport record. You do not leave the country at any point; the approval arrives on WhatsApp while you carry on with your stay.
The exit routes, airport to airport and bus to Oman, issue a brand new visa after you leave; an extension does not require leaving at all. For Mali visitors who still qualify, the extension is the cheapest and least disruptive option, and it is the one we recommend first.
Is a Visa extension available for Mali citizens?
Three factors decide whether a Mali passport holder can extend: the visa type, the number of extensions already taken, and the issuing agency. We check the position for Mali passports on WhatsApp and advise the right route: extension, airport to airport or bus.
- Visit and tourist visa holders on a 30 day or 60 day visa issued through a travel agency. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days.
- Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
- Visitors whose visa we issued. Immigration processes extensions through the original issuer’s account, so another agency cannot extend a visa we did not issue, and we cannot extend a visa issued elsewhere.
If your visa was issued by a different agency, you have two choices: ask that agency to extend it, or use an exit route with us. An airport to airport visa change costs AED 1,550 and a visa change by bus to Oman starts from AED 1,000, and both give you a fresh 60 day visa regardless of who issued the first one. Visas issued on arrival and residence visas cannot be extended through this service.

Visa extension fees for Mali passport holders
Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, and unlike a new visa the fee does not change by nationality, so Mali passports pay the standard rate.
- 1 month extension inside the UAE: AED 1,200
- 60 day extension: AED 2,400 (two 30 day extensions back to back)
The charge covers immigration and processing costs and is not refundable if the extension is refused. Fines for overstaying are paid directly to immigration and sit outside the extension price. For 30 extra days the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route; for a full 60 days with no extensions remaining, the airport to airport change or the bus route becomes the better buy for Mali travellers.
Payment options
UAE residents arranging a Visa extension for a family member or friend from Mali can split the AED 1,200 using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. All other applicants receive a secure online payment link. Group applications for a family are processed as one, with the total eligible for instalments.
What Mali citizens need to send us
Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:
- Passport copy showing at least six months validity.
- A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
- A copy of your current UAE visit visa, so we can confirm the issue date, the expiry date and how many extensions have already been used.
The extension does not call for a bank statement, accommodation proof or a return ticket. Immigration can request further documents at its discretion, and we pass any such request on to Mali travellers without delay.
The application process step by step
- Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
- Settle the AED 1,200 by secure link or instalments. The application goes to immigration after payment.
- We submit the extension to immigration and keep you updated. Most Mali applications are approved within two to three working days, though immigration may occasionally take longer.
- We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.
The five to seven day rule for Mali visitors
An extension is only possible on a live visa, which is why the expiry date is the hard deadline. We ask Mali travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.
What happens if you miss the deadline
There is no grace period on a UAE visit visa. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

When extension is no longer possible
Once a Mali visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. You can fly out and back the same day for AED 1,550, take the Oman bus from AED 1,000, return to Mali and reapply, or switch to residency if you have a sponsor. Both exit routes issue a new 60 day tourist visa regardless of which agency issued the original, and we arrange either on WhatsApp.
Why extensions get refused or delayed
- Applying too late. Extensions cannot be filed after expiry, so contact us five to seven days ahead.
- Approaching a different agency. The same agency rule means we can only extend visas we issued; for others, use an exit route.
- Forgetting that extensions add to the original stay rather than replacing it.
- Passport validity under six months. Immigration will not extend a visa on a passport close to expiry.
- Confusing residency or arrival stamps with agency visit visas, which are the only ones we can extend.
Frequently asked questions about Visa extension for Mali passport
Do I have to leave the UAE to extend?
Yes. No exit is needed for agency issued visit visas within the extension limits and the 120 day cap, when processed by the original issuer.
What are the UAE visit visa extension fees?
The extension fee is AED 1,200 for 30 days and AED 2,400 for 60 days (two back to back extensions), identical for all passports including Mali.
How long does a Visa extension take?
Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, Mali travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.
How many extensions are allowed?
Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each. Total stay cannot exceed 120 days from the original entry.
What if my visa came from a different agency?
No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.
Is there a grace period after my visa expires?
No grace days exist. Overstaying costs AED 50 per day from day one, plus an exit permit of approximately AED 250 to 300 once the overstay passes 30 days.
Can I extend visas for my family together?
Yes. We process extensions for spouses, children and other family members together, and UAE residents booking for family can split the combined total across Tabby, Tamara or a UAE credit card plan.
What if my extension is refused?
Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
