If you hold a Marshall Islands passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. At White Sky Travel a 30 day extension is AED 1,200, processed in around two to three working days, with every step on WhatsApp. Here is everything a Marshall Islands traveller needs to know before applying: fees, limits, deadlines, paperwork and the alternatives when extension is no longer possible.
Short version: AED 1,200 per 30 days, processed in country in two to three working days for Marshall Islands passports, up to 120 days total. Apply a week before expiry via the agency that issued the original visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
What is a Visa extension without exit?
A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. Immigration processes the extension under the original issuer’s account and records the new expiry against your Marshall Islands passport. You do not leave the country at any point; the approval arrives on WhatsApp while you carry on with your stay.
Visa change by air or by bus means exiting and re entering on a new visa; a Visa extension avoids the exit altogether. If a Marshall Islands passport holder is still eligible, the extension is cheaper and simpler than any exit route, so it is always our first suggestion.
Eligibility for Marshall Islands passport holders
Whether you qualify comes down to your current visa, your extension history and who issued the original visa. Send us a copy of your current visa on WhatsApp and we will confirm within the hour whether a Marshall Islands passport can be extended, or whether an exit route is the better option.
- Tourist visa holders with extensions remaining: up to three on a 30 day visa and up to two on a 60 day visa.
- Visitors who have not reached 120 days in the UAE on the current visa.
- Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.
Visas issued elsewhere can be extended by that agency; alternatively, we arrange an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or a bus visa change from AED 1,000, each providing a new 60 day visa. Visas issued on arrival and residence visas cannot be extended through this service.

Visa extension fees for Marshall Islands passport holders
We charge AED 1,200 for every 30 day extension regardless of nationality, so Marshall Islands citizens pay exactly this figure.
- 30 day extension: AED 1,200
- 60 day extension: AED 2,400 (two 30 day extensions back to back)
The charge covers immigration and processing costs and is not refundable if the extension is refused. Fines for overstaying are paid directly to immigration and sit outside the extension price. A Marshall Islands visitor needing 30 days should extend; one needing 60 days after the limit should look at the exit routes.
Pay in monthly instalments
UAE residents arranging a Visa extension for a family member or friend from Marshall Islands can split the AED 1,200 using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. When several family members extend at once, we process them together and the total can be paid on the same plan.
What Marshall Islands citizens need to send us
Since immigration already has your file from the original visa, an extension needs only a few items. WhatsApp us:
- Passport copy showing at least six months validity.
- A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
- The current visa copy, which we use to check the expiry date and remaining extensions.
Bank statements, hotel confirmations and return tickets are not part of the extension application. Immigration may occasionally request an additional document on a case by case basis, and we will tell you immediately if that happens for a Marshall Islands passport.
How to apply for a Visa extension from Marshall Islands
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 a week before expiry. We verify the dates and confirm whether a Marshall Islands passport can be extended.
- Settle the AED 1,200 by secure link or instalments. The application goes to immigration after payment.
- We lodge the application and track it. Approval for Marshall Islands passports usually takes two to three working days; immigration can sometimes extend this.
- The approved extension arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp with the updated expiry. Store it alongside your passport.
When to apply and why the deadline matters
An extension is only possible on a live visa, which is why the expiry date is the hard deadline. Allow five to seven days: two to three working days for processing, plus a buffer for weekends and holidays. For consecutive extensions, submit each new request a few days before the previous extension expires and track your cumulative stay against the 120 day limit.
What happens if you miss the deadline
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. An expired visa means a visa change rather than an extension: pay the fine, then exit by air or bus with us and return on a new visa.

When extension is no longer possible
Once a Marshall Islands visitor has used every extension and reached 120 days, exit is mandatory. Four options follow: airport to airport at AED 1,550 and back the same day, the bus to Oman from AED 1,000 taking roughly a day, a return home before a new visa, or a residence visa through an employer or family member. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Marshall Islands travellers on WhatsApp.
Mistakes to avoid
- Leaving it to the last day. An expired visa cannot be extended, so allow a week.
- Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
- Losing track of cumulative days. The 120 day cap runs from first entry, including every extension.
- Passport validity under six months. Immigration will not extend a visa on a passport close to expiry.
- Applying with an arrival stamp or residency, which cannot be extended through an agency.
Marshall Islands passport Visa extension FAQ
Can Marshall Islands passport holders extend in country?
You can. Marshall Islands passport holders on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa extend in country as long as extensions remain, the 120 day limit is respected, and the issuing agency files the request.
What are the UAE visit visa extension fees?
AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, the same for every nationality including Marshall Islands. A two month extension is AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions.
When will I receive the extension?
Typically two to three working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Immigration can take longer in some cases, which is why a five to seven day lead time is recommended.
What is the maximum stay?
Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 30 days each. Total stay cannot exceed 120 days from the original entry.
Can I extend a visa issued by another agency?
The same agency rule applies to every nationality, Marshall Islands included. If we did not issue the visa, we cannot extend it, but we can reset you on a new 60 day visa by air (AED 1,550) or bus (from AED 1,000).
How many days can I stay after the visa ends?
No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.
Can spouse and children extend at the same time?
Yes. Each family member pays AED 1,200 per extension, we file them together, and the total can be spread over instalments for UAE resident sponsors.
Is the fee refundable on rejection?
Immigration can decline at its discretion, though it seldom does for eligible Marshall Islands applicants. The fee is not returned on refusal, and an exit route becomes necessary before expiry.
