A Visa extension allows Mexico passport holders to add 30 days to a UAE visit visa without exiting, flying anywhere or crossing a border. Each 30 day extension costs AED 1,200, takes two to three working days in most cases, and is managed entirely through WhatsApp with our team. This page explains who qualifies, what a Mexico passport holder pays, how many times you can extend, the deadline to apply, and what happens once you reach the 120 day limit.
In short: Mexico passport holders pay AED 1,200 for each 30 day Visa extension, approved in two to three working days without leaving the country. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 120 days maximum. Apply five to seven days before expiry through the agency that issued your visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
What is a Visa extension without exit?
Unlike a visa change, a Visa extension keeps your existing visa and simply adds 30 days to it. We file the extension through the issuing account, and immigration updates the expiry date on your Mexico passport record. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.
The exit routes, airport to airport and bus to Oman, issue a brand new visa after you leave; an extension does not require leaving at all. For eligible Mexico travellers the extension beats the exit routes on cost, effort and time away.
Is a Visa extension available for Mexico citizens?
Three factors decide whether a Mexico passport holder can extend: the visa type, the number of extensions already taken, and the issuing agency. We check the position for Mexico passports on WhatsApp and advise the right route: extension, airport to airport or bus.
- Anyone on a 30 day or 60 day tourist visa issued by an agency: three extensions for the 30 day visa, two for the 60 day visa, 30 days each time.
- Visitors who have not reached 120 days in the UAE on the current visa.
- Applicants whose original visa was issued by White Sky Travel. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account.
If we did not issue your visa, the original agency can extend it, or we can reset you on a new 60 day visa through an airport to airport change (AED 1,550) or the bus to Oman (from AED 1,000). On arrival stamps and residence visas fall outside this service.

How much does a Visa extension cost?
We charge AED 1,200 for every 30 day extension regardless of nationality, so Mexico citizens pay exactly this figure.
- One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
- 60 day extension: AED 2,400 (two 30 day extensions back to back)
The fee covers the government charge and our processing, and it is not refundable if immigration declines the extension, because the government fee is paid at submission. If a fine has accrued, it is paid to immigration in addition to the extension fee. Compared with the exit routes, the extension is usually the better value for a Mexico visitor who needs 30 more days, while a new 60 day visa through airport to airport or bus makes more sense when you need the full two months and have no extensions left.
Pay in monthly instalments
Residents of the UAE booking for Mexico visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. Family extensions are handled together, and the combined total can be split the same way.
Visa extension requirements for Mexico passport holders
Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:
- A clear copy of your Mexico passport, valid for at least six months.
- A colour passport size photo on a white background, without glasses.
- Your present visa, needed to confirm eligibility and the dates.
You will not be asked for financial documents, a hotel booking or a ticket to extend. Immigration can request further documents at its discretion, and we pass any such request on to Mexico travellers without delay.
How Mexico citizens apply
- Send your documents on WhatsApp to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 at least five to seven days before your visa expires. We check the expiry date and extension count and confirm eligibility the same day.
- Make the payment through the link we send. We submit as soon as it is confirmed.
- We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Mexico citizens is two to three working days.
- The approved extension arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp with the updated expiry. Store it alongside your passport.
Do not wait until the last day
The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. Allow five to seven days: two to three working days for processing, plus a buffer for weekends and holidays. For consecutive extensions, submit each new request a few days before the previous extension expires and track your cumulative stay against the 120 day limit.
No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine
There is no grace period on a UAE visit visa. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. After expiry the only option is an exit route; we handle the airport to airport change or the Oman bus for Mexico passports.

What to do after the maximum extensions
At 120 days total, Mexico passport holders must leave the UAE. The choices are an airport to airport change (AED 1,550, same day, flydubai), the Oman bus route (from AED 1,000, about a day), going home and applying afresh, or moving to a residence visa where a sponsor exists. The two exit routes each provide a fresh 60 day visa whoever issued the first one, and we organise both.
Common problems for Mexico applicants and how we prevent them
- Leaving it to the last day. An expired visa cannot be extended, so allow a week.
- Expecting a third party to extend a visa it did not issue, which the system does not allow.
- Miscounting the 120 days. Total stay is counted from the original entry date, not from the last extension, so keep a running tally.
- Passport validity under six months. Immigration will not extend a visa on a passport close to expiry.
- Applying with an arrival stamp or residency, which cannot be extended through an agency.
Answers for Mexico citizens
Can Mexico passport holders extend in country?
Yes. No exit is needed for agency issued visit visas within the extension limits and the 120 day cap, when processed by the original issuer.
What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?
AED 1,200 for a 30 day extension and AED 2,400 for 60 days, with no nationality surcharge for Mexico citizens.
What is the processing time?
Usually two to three working days. Because government offices close at weekends, Mexico travellers should allow five to seven days before the visa expires.
What is the maximum stay?
Up to three times for a 30 day visa and twice for a 60 day visa, always within a 120 day ceiling.
Does the same agency rule apply to Mexico passports?
No. In country extensions can only be processed by the agency that issued the original visa, because immigration handles the request through the issuer’s account. If another agency issued your visa, contact them, or use an exit route with us: an airport to airport change at AED 1,550 or the bus to Oman from AED 1,000, both giving a new 60 day visa.
Is there a grace period after my visa expires?
No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.
Can spouse and children extend at the same time?
Yes. Family extensions are handled as one application, and the total fee is eligible for instalments when a UAE resident books on the family’s behalf.
Can immigration decline an extension?
Rejection is uncommon for eligible applications. Fees are not refunded on refusal, since immigration retains the charge, and the fallback is an exit route before the visa expires. Our pre check is designed to catch problems early.
