If you hold a Paraguay passport and your UAE visit visa is running out, a Visa extension lets you stay another 30 days without leaving the country. We process the extension for AED 1,200 per 30 day block, usually within two to three working days, and the whole application runs on WhatsApp. Here is everything a Paraguay traveller needs to know before applying: fees, limits, deadlines, paperwork and the alternatives when extension is no longer possible.
In short: Paraguay passport holders pay AED 1,200 for each 30 day Visa extension, approved in two to three working days without leaving the country. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 120 days maximum. Apply five to seven days before expiry through the agency that issued your visa.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
How an in country UAE visa extension works
An in country Visa extension extends the visa you already hold rather than issuing a fresh one. The request goes to immigration under the account that issued the visa, and approval extends the expiry date linked to your Paraguay passport. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.
This is different from an airport to airport visa change or a visa change by bus to Oman, both of which involve leaving the UAE and returning on a completely new tourist visa. For Paraguay visitors who still qualify, the extension is the cheapest and least disruptive option, and it is the one we recommend first.
Eligibility for Paraguay passport holders
Three factors decide whether a Paraguay passport holder can extend: the visa type, the number of extensions already taken, and the issuing agency. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Paraguay citizens before you pay anything.
- Visit and tourist visa holders on a 30 day or 60 day visa issued through a travel agency. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days.
- Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
- Visitors whose visa we issued. Immigration processes extensions through the original issuer’s account, so another agency cannot extend a visa we did not issue, and we cannot extend a visa issued elsewhere.
Where another agency issued the visa, either contact them for the extension or book an exit route with us: airport to airport at AED 1,550 or the Oman bus from AED 1,000, both of which issue a new 60 day visa whatever the original source. This service does not cover visa on arrival stamps or residence permits.

How much does a Visa extension cost?
A 30 day extension is AED 1,200 for all passports, Paraguay included; there is no nationality based pricing on extensions.
- One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
- Two month visa extension: AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions
The fee covers the government charge and our processing, and it is not refundable if immigration declines the extension, because the government fee is paid at submission. Fines for overstaying are paid directly to immigration and sit outside the extension price. If you only need a month, extend; if you need two months and have run out of extensions, a new visa by air or bus is the better route for a Paraguay passport.
Payment options
UAE residents arranging a Visa extension for a family member or friend from Paraguay can split the AED 1,200 using Tabby with up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable terms, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month plans depending on the issuing bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. We extend spouses and children together and apply one instalment plan to the combined fee.
Visa extension requirements for Paraguay passport holders
Because your record already exists with immigration, we only need the following on WhatsApp:
- Your Paraguay passport data page, with six months or more validity remaining.
- One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
- The current visa copy, which we use to check the expiry date and remaining extensions.
The extension does not call for a bank statement, accommodation proof or a return ticket. Immigration can request further documents at its discretion, and we pass any such request on to Paraguay travellers without delay.
Getting your extension in four steps
- Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
- Settle the AED 1,200 by secure link or instalments. The application goes to immigration after payment.
- We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Paraguay citizens is two to three working days.
- We forward the extension PDF on WhatsApp; the new expiry date is on it, so keep it handy.
The five to seven day rule for Paraguay visitors
An extension is only possible on a live visa, which is why the expiry date is the hard deadline. Allow five to seven days: two to three working days for processing, plus a buffer for weekends and holidays. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.
No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine
Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. A fine of AED 50 applies for every day of overstay, the same flat rate across all visa types and emirates, and it starts the day after expiry. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. After expiry the only option is an exit route; we handle the airport to airport change or the Oman bus for Paraguay passports.

Reaching the 120 day limit
When the extensions are exhausted and 120 days are up, leaving the country is required. Four options follow: airport to airport at AED 1,550 and back the same day, the bus to Oman from AED 1,000 taking roughly a day, a return home before a new visa, or a residence visa through an employer or family member. Air or bus, the result is a new 60 day visa, and we book either for Paraguay travellers on WhatsApp.
How to keep your application on track
- Applying too late. Extensions cannot be filed after expiry, so contact us five to seven days ahead.
- Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
- Miscounting the 120 days. Total stay is counted from the original entry date, not from the last extension, so keep a running tally.
- Passport validity under six months. Immigration will not extend a visa on a passport close to expiry.
- Expecting an on arrival stamp to be extendable. It is not; a visa change is required instead.
Paraguay passport Visa extension FAQ
Can I extend my UAE visit visa without exiting on a Paraguay passport?
You can. Paraguay passport holders on an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa extend in country as long as extensions remain, the 120 day limit is respected, and the issuing agency files the request.
What is the 1 month visa extension price in Dubai?
AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, the same for every nationality including Paraguay. A two month extension is AED 2,400, processed as two consecutive 30 day extensions.
When will I receive the extension?
Typically two to three working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Immigration can take longer in some cases, which is why a five to seven day lead time is recommended.
What is the maximum stay?
Up to three times for a 30 day visa and twice for a 60 day visa, always within a 120 day ceiling.
Can I extend a visa issued by another agency?
The same agency rule applies to every nationality, Paraguay included. If we did not issue the visa, we cannot extend it, but we can reset you on a new 60 day visa by air (AED 1,550) or bus (from AED 1,000).
Can I stay a few days after expiry?
None. The AED 50 daily fine starts the day after the visa expires, with an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 added after 30 days of overstay.
What about family members on Paraguay passports?
Certainly. We extend the whole family at once, and residents sponsoring Paraguay relatives can pay the combined AED 1,200 per person on an instalment plan.
What happens if it is not approved?
Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
