Visa extension for Peru citizens without leaving the UAE

When a Peru citizen wants more time in the UAE, a Visa extension adds 30 days to the current visit visa from inside the country. The fee is AED 1,200 for each 30 day extension, approval normally arrives in two to three working days, and everything is handled on WhatsApp. Below you will find eligibility, pricing for Peru citizens, the extension limits, the application deadline and your options after 120 days.

In short: Peru passport holders pay AED 1,200 for each 30 day Visa extension, approved in two to three working days without leaving the country. Three extensions on a 30 day visa, two on a 60 day visa, 120 days maximum. Apply five to seven days before expiry through the agency that issued your visa.

How an in country UAE visa extension works

A Visa extension without exit is an extension of your existing visit visa, not a new visa. Immigration processes the extension under the original issuer’s account and records the new expiry against your Peru passport. No flight, no bus and no border: you remain where you are and receive the approval on WhatsApp.

It should not be confused with the airport to airport change or the Oman bus route, which reset you on a new visa after an exit. For eligible Peru travellers the extension beats the exit routes on cost, effort and time away.

Eligibility for Peru passport holders

Three factors decide whether a Peru passport holder can extend: the visa type, the number of extensions already taken, and the issuing agency. Message a photo of your visa to our WhatsApp and we confirm eligibility for Peru citizens before you pay anything.

  • Visit and tourist visa holders on a 30 day or 60 day visa issued through a travel agency. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days.
  • Applicants whose total stay, including the new extension, will not exceed 120 days from the original entry date.
  • Those whose visa came from White Sky Travel, since extensions run through the issuing account under immigration rules.

Where another agency issued the visa, either contact them for the extension or book an exit route with us: airport to airport at AED 1,550 or the Oman bus from AED 1,000, both of which issue a new 60 day visa whatever the original source. On arrival stamps and residence visas fall outside this service.

Visa extension fees for Peru passport holders

The Visa extension fee is AED 1,200 per 30 day extension, and the price is the same for every nationality, including Peru.

  • One month visa extension: AED 1,200 for 30 days
  • 2 month extension: AED 2,400, issued as two separate 30 day approvals

The charge covers immigration and processing costs and is not refundable if the extension is refused. Overstay fines, if any, are paid by the traveller to immigration and are not part of the extension fee. Compared with the exit routes, the extension is usually the better value for a Peru visitor who needs 30 more days, while a new 60 day visa through airport to airport or bus makes more sense when you need the full two months and have no extensions left.

Spreading the cost

Residents of the UAE booking for Peru visitors can use Tabby for up to 12 months, Tamara with extendable repayment, or a UAE credit card with 3, 6, 9 or 12 month terms set by the card issuer. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp. Family extensions are handled together, and the combined total can be split the same way.

What Peru citizens need to send us

Extensions need less paperwork than a new visa. Message us these three items on WhatsApp:

  1. Passport copy showing at least six months validity.
  2. One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
  3. A copy of your current UAE visit visa, so we can confirm the issue date, the expiry date and how many extensions have already been used.

No bank statement, hotel booking or return ticket is required for the extension itself. Immigration can request further documents at its discretion, and we pass any such request on to Peru travellers without delay.

Getting your extension in four steps

  1. Message +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 on WhatsApp five to seven days ahead of expiry with your documents. We review them and confirm eligibility within hours.
  2. Make the payment through the link we send. We submit as soon as it is confirmed.
  3. We lodge the application and track it. Approval for Peru passports usually takes two to three working days; immigration can sometimes extend this.
  4. The approved extension arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp with the updated expiry. Store it alongside your passport.

The five to seven day rule for Peru visitors

The extension must be submitted before the current visa expires; an expired visa cannot be extended. We ask Peru travellers to contact us five to seven days ahead, because processing takes two to three working days and weekends and public holidays do not count. If you plan to extend more than once, apply for the next extension a few days before the current one ends, and keep an eye on the 120 day total.

What happens if you miss the deadline

Visitors do not receive any grace days after the expiry date. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. If the overstay passes 30 days, an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 is required on top of the fines. After expiry the only option is an exit route; we handle the airport to airport change or the Oman bus for Peru passports.

Options for Peru visitors after 120 days

At 120 days total, Peru passport holders must leave the UAE. Four options follow: airport to airport at AED 1,550 and back the same day, the bus to Oman from AED 1,000 taking roughly a day, a return home before a new visa, or a residence visa through an employer or family member. Both exit routes issue a new 60 day tourist visa regardless of which agency issued the original, and we arrange either on WhatsApp.

Why extensions get refused or delayed

  • Missing the deadline. Once the visa lapses, only an exit route remains.
  • Not knowing who issued the visa. Ask the person who arranged it, since the extension has to go through that agency.
  • Assuming the clock resets with each extension. It does not; 120 days is the total from entry.
  • A passport expiring soon. Renew it before applying.
  • Trying to extend a visa on arrival or a residence visa. This service covers agency issued visit visas only; other permits need a different route.

Questions Peru travellers ask us

Do I have to leave the UAE to extend?

Yes, without leaving the country. The conditions are an agency issued 30 or 60 day visa, extensions still available, a total stay under 120 days, and processing through the issuing agency.

How much does a Visa extension cost for Peru citizens?

One month costs AED 1,200 and two months cost AED 2,400, issued as two 30 day extensions. The fee does not vary by nationality, so Peru passports pay the standard rate.

How long does a Visa extension take?

Expect two to three working days for a Peru passport, with a buffer for weekends and holidays.

What is the maximum stay?

A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days. The maximum continuous stay on any UAE tourist visa is 120 days, after which exit is mandatory.

Can I extend a visa issued by another agency?

Only the issuing agency can extend a visa in country; that is how the immigration system works, not an agency policy. For visas issued elsewhere, ask that agency, or book an exit route with us (airport to airport AED 1,550, bus from AED 1,000) for a fresh 60 day visa.

When do fines start?

No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.

What about family members on Peru passports?

Certainly. We extend the whole family at once, and residents sponsoring Peru relatives can pay the combined AED 1,200 per person on an instalment plan.

What if my extension is refused?

Very few eligible extensions are refused. If yours is, the government fee cannot be refunded and you would exit via air or bus before the current visa runs out.
