Prices start at AED 450, you need only four documents, and everything happens over WhatsApp from our office in Dubai Investment Park. Here is everything a India traveller needs to know: cost, paperwork, timing, validity and what happens when the visa is about to expire.
Quick answer: a Dubai visa for a India passport costs AED 450 for 30 days single entry, AED 650 for 60 days single entry, AED 800 for 30 days multiple entry and AED 1,000 for 60 days multiple entry. Processing takes 24 to 72 hours and the visa must be used to enter the UAE within 60 days of issue.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Do India passport holders need a Dubai visa?
The majority of passports require a visa arranged in advance, which is the service described on this page. Certain passports qualify for visa on arrival, and eligibility rules shift from year to year. If you are unsure whether a India passport falls under visa on arrival or needs a prearranged Dubai visa, send us a photo of the passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you pay anything.
What a Dubai visa costs from Dubai
Current Dubai visa pricing for India citizens, verified September 2026:
- 30 day single entry: AED 450
- 60 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 650
- 30 days, multiple entry: AED 800
- 60 days, multiple entry: AED 1,000
The shortest UAE tourist visa is 30 days; there is no shorter tourist visa. Fees are not refundable on rejection, since the government charge is paid the moment the application is lodged.
A note on deposits
Some passports are asked for a refundable security deposit. This is independent of the visa cost, refunded once you depart the UAE, and we tell India applicants in advance whether one applies.
Spreading the cost
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a India passport, the fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp.

Paperwork for a Dubai visa
Send these on WhatsApp and we can usually confirm eligibility within the hour:
- A clear scan of your India passport, both the data page and the back cover, with at least six months validity. Missing back covers cause most resubmissions.
- A recent colour photograph, white background, passport dimensions, no glasses.
- A round trip ticket, which we can also book for you if it is not yet arranged.
- Birth certificate for any child applicant. A national ID copy is required for some nationalities.
A bank statement covering six months is required for certain passports. Where India citizens are affected, the statement of a family member living in the UAE is accepted. Please also carry a card or some cash, since immigration can ask arriving visitors to show proof of funds.
Applying through a family member or friend in the UAE
When a UAE resident applies on behalf of a India visitor, we also need the sponsor’s passport copy valid for six months, residence visa page valid for six months, Emirates ID front and back, and the guarantee form completed at applyvisa.app. If a statement is requested, a UAE family member may supply it on the applicant’s behalf, but a friend’s statement is not accepted.
The application process step by step
- Share your documents with us on WhatsApp at +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133 and we confirm which visa fits your plans.
- Make the payment through the link we send. The application goes to immigration as soon as payment clears and documents are approved.
- We lodge the application and track it. Approval for India passports usually takes 24 to 72 hours; immigration can sometimes extend this or ask for more paperwork.
- We forward the visa PDF on WhatsApp. Keep it with your passport for the airline counter and arrival immigration.
How long the Dubai visa is valid
Entry must take place within 60 days of issue, or the visa lapses. Your 30 or 60 days of stay begin on the day you enter, not on the day the visa is issued. A single entry visa allows one arrival; a multiple entry visa lets you leave and re enter as often as you like within the validity, which suits travellers combining the UAE with Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Employment is not permitted on a tourist visa.
Overstay rules in 2026
UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period after expiry. Every day beyond expiry costs AED 50, whichever emirate issued the visa, starting immediately. Overstays beyond 30 days additionally require an exit permit of roughly AED 250 to 300. Our team messages India visitors on WhatsApp ahead of expiry so there is time to extend or leave.

Extending a Dubai visa for India passport holders
Thirty day visas may be extended three times by 30 days, and 60 day visas twice by 30 days, all from inside the UAE. The maximum total stay is 120 days. When the extensions are used up, India visitors must exit and return on a fresh visa, either by a same day flight or by the Oman bus route. Extension applications must be submitted before the current visa expires, so contact us with at least a week remaining.
Sharjah visa option
We can also issue a Sharjah 60 day single entry visa for AED 1,200, which requires no security deposit. Holders may move freely across all seven emirates. Message us and we will compare both routes for your India passport.
Mistakes India applicants should avoid
- Missing passport back cover. Include it with your first message to avoid resubmission.
- A passport expiring within six months of travel.
- Blurred or cropped photos. Use a clear, full colour scan with all four corners visible.
- Past visa problems in the UAE. We assess these before submission so that you are not surprised by a refusal.
- Passports bearing a single name, which require a supporting document before we can apply.
- Tight timelines. Three working days is the minimum, and peak seasons need more.
India passport Dubai visa FAQ
What is the processing time?
Typically 24 to 72 hours. Immigration sets the timeline and may ask for more documents, so allow three working days or more before your flight.
What does the 30 day visa cost?
AED 450 single or AED 800 multiple entry. Indian and Filipino rates are AED 400 and AED 750. Deposits, where applicable, are confirmed before payment.
Price of a two month visa?
AED 650 single or AED 1,000 multiple entry, with the Indian and Filipino tariff at AED 600 and AED 950.
Will immigration ask for proof of funds?
It depends on nationality. Some passports are asked for a six month statement, and a UAE based family member can submit theirs instead. Immigration may also ask arriving travellers for proof of funds, so carry a card or cash. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the rule for India passports.
Can I extend a Dubai visa without leaving the UAE?
Yes. Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, all from inside the UAE, up to 120 days. Once exhausted, a visa change by air or bus is needed.
When do fines start?
No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.
Can I get my money back on refusal?
Fees are not refunded on rejection, as the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. A fresh application can be made once the issue is resolved.
Is there a visa for minors?
Yes. Minors receive their own visa at the adult price, and we ask for a birth certificate with the usual documents.
Does the tourist visa allow employment?
Employment is not allowed on a tourist visa. Job seekers can meet employers, but a work permit and residence visa are required before starting work.
