If you hold a Iraq passport and need a Dubai visa, we can issue a 30 day or 60 day UAE tourist visa in single or multiple entry, usually within 24 to 72 hours. The 30 day visa starts at AED 450, four documents are enough for most applicants, and we handle every step on WhatsApp. Read on for the full picture for Iraq passports: price list, requirements, processing time, validity and extension rules.
Quick answer: a Dubai visa for a Iraq passport costs AED 450 for 30 days single entry, AED 650 for 60 days single entry, AED 800 for 30 days multiple entry and AED 1,000 for 60 days multiple entry. Processing takes 24 to 72 hours and the visa must be used to enter the UAE within 60 days of issue.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Is a Dubai visa required for Iraq citizens?
Most nationalities need a prearranged visa before flying to the UAE, and that is what we issue. Some passports are stamped on arrival instead, and the list of eligible countries is updated periodically. Message us a photo of your Iraq passport on WhatsApp and we will confirm which rule applies before any payment is taken.
Dubai visa price for Iraq passport holders
These are our current prices for a Dubai visa on a Iraq passport, checked in September 2026:
- 30 day tourist visa, single entry: AED 450
- 60 days, single entry: AED 650
- 30 days, multiple entry: AED 800
- 60 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 1,000
Thirty days is the minimum tourist visa length, and nothing shorter exists in this category. Should immigration refuse the application, the fee is not returned, as it covers government processing.
Refundable security deposit for some nationalities
A refundable security deposit may apply for some nationalities. This is independent of the visa cost, refunded once you depart the UAE, and we tell Iraq applicants in advance whether one applies.
Spreading the cost
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Iraq passport, the fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Other travellers pay by a secure online payment link that we send on WhatsApp.

Dubai visa requirements for Iraq passport holders
Message us these items on WhatsApp and we will normally confirm your eligibility within an hour:
- Passport scan showing the front page and the back cover, valid for at least six months. A missing back cover is the most common reason an application is returned, so please include both.
- One colour passport photo on a plain white background.
- A return or two way flight ticket; if you do not have one, we can arrange the flights.
- A birth certificate for children under 18. Some nationalities must also provide a national ID copy.
A bank statement covering six months is required for certain passports. Where Iraq citizens are affected, the statement of a family member living in the UAE is accepted. Bear in mind that immigration officers sometimes ask arriving passengers to show they can fund their stay, so keep a card or cash accessible.
Guarantor documents
For sponsored applications the UAE resident supplies a passport copy and residence visa page valid for six months, both sides of their Emirates ID, and the online guarantee form at applyvisa.app. The sponsor’s bank statement can stand in for the applicant’s where one is required, but this applies to family members only, not friends.
How to apply for a Dubai visa from Iraq
- WhatsApp your documents to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133. We review them within hours and recommend the right visa for your trip.
- Complete payment through the link or instalment option we provide. We submit the application once documents and payment are in place.
- We submit the application to immigration and keep you updated. Most Iraq applications are approved in 24 to 72 hours, though immigration may occasionally take longer or request additional documents.
- The approved visa arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp. Carry a printed or digital copy for the airline and for immigration on arrival.
How long the Dubai visa is valid
The permit is valid for entry for 60 days from issue. Your 30 or 60 days of stay begin on the day you enter, not on the day the visa is issued. Choose single entry for a straightforward visit, or multiple entry if you plan to hop to Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar and come back. The visa is for visiting only and does not allow you to take up work.
Why the expiry date matters
Once a visit visa expires, no extra days are granted. An expired visa attracts AED 50 per day in fines from day one, and the rate is the same everywhere in the UAE. Anyone who overstays by more than 30 days also needs an exit permit, typically AED 250 to 300, before leaving. We remind Iraq travellers on WhatsApp before the expiry date, giving you time to act.

Extending a Dubai visa for Iraq passport holders
Thirty day visas may be extended three times by 30 days, and 60 day visas twice by 30 days, all from inside the UAE. The maximum total stay is 120 days. After the limit, the only way to stay on is to leave and come back on a new visa, by air through an airport to airport change or by bus via Oman. Extensions are only accepted before expiry, so message us while you still have a week or more left.
Another route for Iraq passports
A Sharjah issued 60 day single entry visa is available at AED 1,200 with no security deposit. It is valid for the whole UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We will advise on WhatsApp whether this suits Iraq citizens better than the standard visa.
Mistakes Iraq applicants should avoid
- No back cover scan. Send it together with the front page.
- A passport expiring within six months of travel.
- Blurred or cropped photos. Use a clear, full colour scan with all four corners visible.
- Previous overstays, unpaid fines or improperly cancelled visas. Tell us about any past UAE history so we can advise honestly before you pay.
- Passports bearing a single name, which require a supporting document before we can apply.
- Last minute applications. Give us a minimum of three working days, longer around Eid and the winter peak.
Answers for Iraq citizens
When will I receive my visa?
Typically 24 to 72 hours. Immigration sets the timeline and may ask for more documents, so allow three working days or more before your flight.
Price of a 30 day single entry visa?
For most passports AED 450 single entry and AED 800 multiple entry; Indian and Filipino citizens pay AED 400 and AED 750. We confirm any deposit requirement on WhatsApp.
How much is a 60 day Dubai visa for Iraq passport holders?
AED 650 for single entry and AED 1,000 for multiple entry. Indian and Filipino passports pay AED 600 and AED 950.
Is a bank statement required for a Iraq passport?
Bank statement requirements vary by nationality. Where one is needed, a family member living in the UAE can provide it. Separately, immigration can ask for proof of funds on arrival. We confirm the position for Iraq citizens on WhatsApp.
What if I want to stay longer?
Yes. Extensions of 30 days are available three times on a 30 day visa and twice on a 60 day visa, all from inside the UAE, up to 120 days. Once exhausted, a visa change by air or bus is needed.
Are there any grace days?
None. The AED 50 daily fine starts the day after the visa expires, with an exit permit of around AED 250 to 300 added after 30 days of overstay.
What if immigration refuses my Dubai visa?
Fees are not refunded on rejection, as the government charge is paid when the application is lodged. A fresh application can be made once the issue is resolved.
Is there a visa for minors?
Certainly. Every child is issued a separate visa at the same rate, and a birth certificate is required in addition to the passport and photo.
Can I look for a job on this visa?
Working on a tourist visa is prohibited. You can interview and explore opportunities, but employment needs a residence visa.
