Travellers from Madagascar who need a Dubai visa can get a 30 or 60 day UAE tourist visa from us in single or multiple entry, and the approval normally takes between 24 and 72 hours. Rates start at AED 450, four documents cover most cases, and our consultants manage the application with you on WhatsApp. This page explains what a Madagascar passport holder pays, what to send, how long it takes, and how the visa can be extended once you are in the UAE.
The essentials for Madagascar citizens: 30 day single entry AED 450, 60 day single entry AED 650, 30 day multiple entry AED 800, 60 day multiple entry AED 1,000. Expect a 24 to 72 hour turnaround and a 60 day window to enter after issue.
Planning your Dubai trip? Let White Sky handle it.
We book your attraction tickets, tours, hotels and flights — and you can pay later with Tabby, Tamara or UAE credit-card monthly instalments. Need a UAE tourist visa too? We do that in-house.
Do Madagascar passport holders need a Dubai visa?
Most nationalities need a prearranged visa before flying to the UAE, and that is what we issue. Some passports are stamped on arrival instead, and the list of eligible countries is updated periodically. We confirm the current position for Madagascar passports on WhatsApp so that nobody pays for a visa they do not need.
Dubai visa price for Madagascar passport holders
Our rate card for Madagascar passports, confirmed in September 2026, is as follows:
- 30 days, single entry: AED 450
- 60 day single entry: AED 650
- 30 day tourist visa, multiple entry: AED 800
- Multiple entry 60 day visa: AED 1,000
The shortest UAE tourist visa is 30 days; there is no shorter tourist visa. Should immigration refuse the application, the fee is not returned, as it covers government processing.
A note on deposits
Certain nationalities may need to place a refundable security deposit. The deposit sits apart from the visa fee, is returned after you leave the UAE, and we confirm the amount for Madagascar citizens on WhatsApp before booking.
Payment options
If you live in the UAE and are sponsoring a relative or friend holding a Madagascar passport, the fee can be paid through Tabby over up to 12 months, Tamara on extendable terms, or a UAE credit card in 3, 6, 9 or 12 monthly instalments subject to your bank. Applicants who are not UAE residents pay through a secure online link.

What Madagascar citizens need to send us
WhatsApp us the following and expect an eligibility answer within about an hour:
- Passport scan showing the front page and the back cover, valid for at least six months. A missing back cover is the most common reason an application is returned, so please include both.
- A white background colour photo in passport format, without eyewear.
- Confirmed two way flight booking. We can book the flights on your behalf if needed.
- For minors, a birth certificate. For a few nationalities, a copy of the national ID card is also required.
Some nationalities may be asked for a six month bank statement, and where that applies to a Madagascar passport a UAE based family member’s statement can be submitted on your behalf. Bear in mind that immigration officers sometimes ask arriving passengers to show they can fund their stay, so keep a card or cash accessible.
Sponsor requirements
For sponsored applications the UAE resident supplies a passport copy and residence visa page valid for six months, both sides of their Emirates ID, and the online guarantee form at applyvisa.app. If a statement is requested, a UAE family member may supply it on the applicant’s behalf, but a friend’s statement is not accepted.
How to apply for a Dubai visa from Madagascar
- Send your documents on WhatsApp to +971 52 292 1011 or +971 4 220 2133. We check them the same day and tell you which visa suits your travel dates.
- Settle the fee by secure link or instalments. Submission to immigration follows verification and payment.
- We file with immigration and follow up. Typical turnaround for Madagascar citizens is 24 to 72 hours, subject to immigration’s discretion.
- The approved visa arrives as a PDF on WhatsApp. Carry a printed or digital copy for the airline and for immigration on arrival.
Validity and duration of stay
The permit is valid for entry for 60 days from issue. Your permitted stay runs from the entry stamp, not from the issue date. A single entry visa allows one arrival; a multiple entry visa lets you leave and re enter as often as you like within the validity, which suits travellers combining the UAE with Oman, Saudi Arabia or Qatar. Working on a tourist visa is not allowed.
No grace period and the AED 50 daily fine
There is no grace period on a UAE tourist visa. The overstay fine is AED 50 per day, applied uniformly across every emirate and visa category, from the first day past expiry. After 30 days of overstay, an exit permit costing about AED 250 to 300 becomes necessary as well. We remind Madagascar travellers on WhatsApp before the expiry date, giving you time to act.

Staying longer than 30 or 60 days
A 30 day visa can be extended three times for 30 days each, and a 60 day visa twice for 30 days each, with no exit required. Combined stay is capped at 120 days. After the limit, the only way to stay on is to leave and come back on a new visa, by air through an airport to airport change or by bus via Oman. You must apply before the visa runs out; we recommend contacting us with at least seven days to spare.
Sharjah 60 day visa
An alternative is the 60 day single entry visa issued through Sharjah, priced at AED 1,200 without any deposit. The visa allows travel throughout the UAE, not only Sharjah. Ask us on WhatsApp which option is better for a Madagascar passport.
Common reasons a Dubai visa is delayed or refused
- Missing passport back cover. Include it with your first message to avoid resubmission.
- A passport expiring within six months of travel.
- Low resolution photos of documents, which immigration may reject.
- Previous overstays, unpaid fines or improperly cancelled visas. Tell us about any past UAE history so we can advise honestly before you pay.
- One name only on the passport without a supporting document; message us first if this applies to you.
- Booking flights before the visa is approved without allowing enough processing time.
Questions Madagascar travellers ask us
What is the processing time?
Usually one to three working days. The decision rests with immigration, and delays are possible, so do not book non changeable flights until the visa is issued.
What does the 30 day visa cost?
AED 450 for single entry and AED 800 for multiple entry. Indian and Filipino passports pay AED 400 and AED 750. A refundable deposit may apply for some nationalities and is confirmed on WhatsApp.
Price of a two month visa?
AED 650 for single entry and AED 1,000 for multiple entry. Indian and Filipino passports pay AED 600 and AED 950.
Will immigration ask for proof of funds?
Only for certain nationalities. A UAE resident family member’s statement is accepted in those cases. Regardless, carry a card or cash on arrival in case immigration asks for proof of funds. WhatsApp us to check the rule for Madagascar.
What if I want to stay longer?
Yes. A 30 day visa can be extended three times and a 60 day visa twice, each by 30 days, up to a total stay of 120 days, without exiting. After that you must leave and re enter through an airport to airport change or by bus. Applications must be made before expiry.
Are there any grace days?
No. UAE visit and tourist visas have no grace period. A fine of AED 50 per day applies from the day after expiry, and overstays beyond 30 days also require an exit permit of about AED 250 to 300.
Is the visa fee refundable if my application is rejected?
No refund applies on refusal, since immigration retains the processing charge. You can apply again once the problem is addressed.
Can I add my child to the application?
Yes. Children require an individual visa at the standard price. We need the passport, photo and birth certificate for each minor.
Can I work in the UAE on a Dubai visa?
Employment is not allowed on a tourist visa. Job seekers can meet employers, but a work permit and residence visa are required before starting work.
